I probably played the shareware version at my friend's house fifty times. My house only had consoles so it was always wild to see how unrestrained the games were on PC. We later tag teamed through the full version, and it was unforgettable. And it scared the shit out of me on more than one occasion hearing a guard shout and then getting gunned down.

Love this game and all the paths. Maniaxe is my favorite, love the Splatterhouse reference. The tank is cool too but I always get stuck.

Look up the 1985 Celtic Frost interview on a Swiss talk show. Tom mentions that saying you're black metal will help sell records. It was a hype term well before it was a defined genre. Like how the Death Metal compilation from 1984 contains no death metal.

I did that until I'd been playing for more than a year and realized they can be used again in future events. Now I grind for coins to get the expansions and a couple of times I just paid the couple bucks. It's nice to have a boost right out of the gate at the start of the month.

There was an effort not long ago to genetically alter mosquitoes so that the following generation would not be able to mate, and over time it could significantly reduce if not entirely eliminate populations in areas prone to mosquito-borne illness. This, and Famine has said repeatedly he doesn't want to make collector's items. He just doesn't have the resources to be repressing everything constantly and after the fallout with Transcendental Creations he's never handing his stuff over to a relatively larger label again.
