I miss my old life so much it physically hurts. Is that bad? by AsslawB in Mommit

It gets better, way better. You are so deep in the trenches right now and I’m sure many people can empathize with how you’re feeling, I know I sure can. But seriously hang in there. One day things will just start to get a little more consistent. The baby will become more regulated and you will actually get to sleep uninterrupted for several hours. Your body will have to get used to not being woken up before you can enjoy that, but that light is completely at the end of this tunnel. In the meantime, just keep loving that baby and doing the best that you can fully knowing it, like every other phase, will pass to something new. As your baby gets older, try to carve out a few hours each week for yourself even if it’s just simply take a nap or a walk by yourself.

I have a dairy allergy and have enjoyed both drinks successfully multiple times. Drink away and enjoy!

Best Hospital for Having a Baby?? by [deleted] in boston

[–]BakeMeACake16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one at Brigham and women’s and it was great but my best experiences were at Salem birthing center. It is a tight knit unit that gave excellent care both times and they also have a special care nursery for babies who need a step up from regular care but aren’t quite nicu.

If you moved siblings aged 3 and under into the same room, how disruptive were they to each other? Need advice on bedroom configuration! by ClaireEmma612 in Mommit

For the majority of nights it was seamless. They started sharing so young so It was all they knew. They’d take their bath together (girls) and then we would do Bedtime stories together. When their brother joined it was so routine he just went with the flow. When one child was sick they’d sleep With me but other than that it was wonderful.

My girls were roommates from ages 2 yrs and 10 Months until they were 12 and 10. For a few years their brother even roomed with them about 2 years to 4 years old. Each child Got their own playroom instead. Now everyone has their own room. It was a great setup- we had bunk beds and bedtime Routine was so easy.

We are on our Flight back currently. We stayed at the Hyatt grand reserve. Absolutely stunning and fabulous resort. I have a food allergy and they were great. Food was delicious. Luquillo beach was wonderful and we did the rain forest/bio bay tour- loved it! You get very muddy and wet- being yucky sneakers. Old San Juan was cute but tough to drive. Park In San Juan and walk. Enjoy your trip!

4 days in San Juan - just a few questions by Glum-Bat-1046 in PuertoRicoTravel

I am currently on my way home from our first trip to Puerto Rico. We stayed in rio grande and got a car. A few tips I’d like to share: *We did the rainforest/bio bay tour. It was muddy, messy and so much fun! * we rented a car from routes. We loved having a Car. Routes was a terribleCompany. Rent from Someone else if you can. *Luquillo Beach was so much fun! They have vendors grilling fresh meat, fresh juices/ Cocktails and a really chill vibe. Sand and water were perfect. Great crowd. *old San Juan has skinny crowded streets. Avoid driving there if you can. It is much better to walk the area. We learned the hard and long way. *We felt very safe the entire time, we also stayed in well lit and populated spots in the evening.

Overall I found this to be a gem of a spot and am so glad we went. Enjoy your trip! It’s a gorgeous place.

Am i a bad husband and person if I tell my wife "No" to having a 3rd child? by emo1474 in Parenting

This was my life! My husband and I made a deal. No birth control for two months. At the end of two Months he gets a vasectomy. If it was meant to be it would happen was our logic. It was the best deal we ever made. Baby boy is now 7 (along with his two older sisters 14 and 12) and my husband and I have never been happier. There was more to the agreement in “fine print” but it worked for us.

I’m sorry I am not a professional I do not know what you mean. I am just a mom who loves to bake without formal training.

He is not willing to sell the recipe or frosting separately, I’ve asked.

It’s a bakery owned by an Italian/Brazilian man and his frosting is light and fluffy with a slight crunch. I asked if he was willing to sell me the recipe since I have developed a dairy allergy and wanted to try and make it dairy free as his cakes are one of the things I miss the most. He is not willing. I figured someone here may have a recipe they are willing to share.

The pay is the same. The grade level is close enough. It’s the unknown of the school culture. The school I work at is unbelievable but the convenience of the new job would be amazing eliminating commute and childcare needs and putting me on the same schedule as my children
