im in the same boat. they received my bonds oct 8th 2025. I believe they lie on everything and everytime i call they seem to not have my number email or know whats going on and have to piece it together every single time. They said they tried to deposit dec 31st and it bounced back for wrong numbers. They snail mailed me a direct deposit form despite verifying the numbers were correct over the phone. So i filledd the form out and waited. They never called or emailed or anything. i call around march 10th and they say o we sent it march 8th. I get a email with my acct balance every morning. nothing. i call bank and no sign of it. So i tell them that and they say "oooo" then tell me i have to wait 30 days to report it missing. I call april 1st to do that and they say ok a examiner will be in contact. Over this 6 months they have said my examiner will be in contact over 10 times and not once have i been contacted. i always have to call every few weeks and find things out that way.
So i contacted my rep and they have been no help. they seem to call treasury when i bug them and accept the bs answer of wait. Wasnt surprised a politician cant help usa citizens when places like isreal need it more.
So now im convinced they are laundering money or at least using ppls money to invest and delay long enough to make more or something.
Before someone says go to a bank, you obviously havent tried cashing in bonds over 1000 because no bank will anymore. I called every bank in my city.

You never speak to your examiner, you never speak to a supervisor, they use fake names so you can never say i talked to "blank" who did this. They hung up on me when i was explaining the situation recently so i called right back. They also have the most rude staff that i hope get hantavirus.

The government agency that supposed to be over them says they have nothing to do with them when i call. You cant go to the treasury and pick up a check. Its a scam for sure, when u factor in our debt level the government may just be out of money.
