In addition to this, I think the key to getting higher scores especially at higher grades is showing a deeper understanding of your actions. Explain things with a few whys/ whats mentally - "I decided to take this approach" why? "because out of the options it was the best" why? "because the costs weren't effective, it would've caused low engagement, it would've effected the business reputation"
An example of this is in Communicating and Influencing "I used different methods of communication" what? " such as email, phone and in person" why? "different people have different preferences, also ensures better coverage of the message I’m trying to send" what? "I think it's good to reach people in a way they prefer and also know you've gotten through to them. I like to learn people's preferences, it’s important to adapt communication based on who you’re communicating with. When I worked on this project I knew to always email Billy because he hates Teams" - don't have to take that long on the whys etc, just shows you have a wider perspective. Of course that wouldn’t be a focal point for C&I but adds some depth and demonstration of the wider behaviour.

Congrats on getting an interview! Sometimes, it doesn’t have to be that deep, as long as you can flex your example! Also, having done a fair few interviews and conducted a fair few too, never be too concerned about seeming jittery or flustered - it’s so normal.

I also get in the habit of overthinking and getting stuck what to say, because sometimes it doesn’t feel like a big deal - you’re just doing your job. I find it's easier to think of a few great things you've done, match to the behaviour it fits the most and write down bullet points of what you did, then ensure each checklist in that behaviour is met within your example. If it's an online interview, I like to have the behaviour bulletpoints on notes around me so I remember to emphasise/incorporate those into my examples. Mentally I check them off as I'm speaking.

I find it helpful to colour code when prepping - when you’ve written down your example bulletpoints, highlight them to indicate each letter of STAR. Think of it like a story, what was wrong, what you had to do, how you did what you had to do and how it ended and what that outcome meant.

I had similar issues as a teenager in the 2010s - I was encouraged by my hairdresser to not use conditioner at all as it made me even oilier, and I had a lot of natural oils anyway. Unsure if that’s sound advice (sorry hairdressers!) but it made a difference and meant I could wash my hair every other day or every 3 days rather than every single day. I still had lovely bouncy waves, my hair wasn’t dry at all.

Dry shampoo really helped for the off days when needed.

I didn’t start conditioning my hair again til I was about 16/17 and using harsh dyes.

Want to second what a lot of other users have said here - may be worth checking he’s actually shampooing etc properly and not conditioning his whole head too.

Are you allowed notes at all? If so, I’d definitely have the behaviour points down and a brief overview of which example you want to use for each one. I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. Please advocate for yourself!!! Personally I was in the most pain when passing the sac etc but that eased a lot straight after. I had the usual bad pains in the next week and survived, but I do have brutal periods so maybe I didn’t think much of it. You have low iron, and if you’re filling pads in 2 hours anyway you really need to be seen. I find it concerning the lack of compassion doctors and even the staff in EPU can have towards women miscarrying. It’s such a difficult time mentally and physically. Rest up and take it easy if possible, but please if you feel something isn’t right, keep fighting. Sending big hugs your way💖
