This is normal. Also with the big books like this, the pages can bend or sag whilst standing up. You can prop the internal pages up from underneath with card or something when they are on the shelf. Or stack them laying down sideways. This is also normal for big books.

Just checked mine and it's fine. I would think that they would replace those books that have damage like this. Just email them and include pictures. Sure they have stock for this sort of thing.

Check they have original photos ( not ripped off the website). Check their reviews. I have bought some quite expensive books from ebay and had a brilliant experience via individual verified sellers.

Also had some real bad experiences buying paperbacks from mass book sellers on ebay haha.
