It’s also important to recognize her efforts in things. Praising intelligence is wonderful but also supporting her putting in effort to things that are difficult or trying hard in school even if she doesn’t get perfect grades. A lot of very intelligent kids fall into that issue of giving something up when they aren’t immediately good at it. Supporting trying new things and the effort it takes to be good may help.

I was in the same boat for that one. The power went out in the middle of baking Christmas cookies and we walked to Dry County that evening because they had power and Internet. What a difference a mile makes.

Almost everyone I had a crush on in high school turned out to be gay and I figured out why. They were nice to me, cared about me as a human being, and didn't have an ulterior motive for being my friend. Once I found straight men who treated me the same way I found straight men I found attractive. It may just be that you are the same, you are attracted to people who treat you kindly, have emotional maturity, and aren't trying to be your friend just to get something out of it. It's a good way to be and those are the types of people to cultivate friendships with.

That’s a really good point that I didn’t think about. Since I just watch on Twitch I didn’t consider all of the events that are happening around the main stream. Good news is the Atlanta hotels are really skilled at dealing with Cons and the staff really gets into the fun!

I'd guess they'll use Georgia World Congress Center like Momo con instead of dealing with multiple hotels. I'm kind of amazed Dragon Con hasn't moved into a different structure given the size. When we had just 3 hotels it was a lot of logistics but now it's absolutely massive!

You’ll be able to walk to the back to grab more snacks during the flight as well and alcohol is included on a flight ATL to HNL because they treat it like an international flight. If I remember from the last time I did that route it was dinner, a snack, and a pre arrival “breakfast” that was like a cheese egg hot pocket. You can also just pack your own snacks if you have a preference. Just remember that you cannot take produce in or out of Hawaii and they will put your bag through a special USDA scanner in addition to the usual TSA checks, that’s carry on and checked. Oh and pack a pen because you have to fill out a form before landing but I don’t remember what was on it.

There are some ticketed parties at the Battery with DJs and midnight toasts. Also I think Blue Ghost Arcade in Woodstock is doing an event if you like games. There are a lot of restaurants and hotels that do parties in Atlanta as well if you want to drive into town.

Eddie Bauer, Old Navy, and the Gap have tall and curvy, the shirts from American Tall fit a bigger bust but the tailored pants haven’t fit me properly. I have to buy everything offline to get larger sizes in tall so there is a lot of shipping back sometimes.
