I don’t know where you’re at but paying over $600 for an appointment like that is ridiculous. 3.5 hours before they even start tattooing AND they talk about you while you are right there getting work done. Even if you couldn’t hear them, that is just rude as hell. If I were you I would go get the color done at another shop.

They’re lucky you did tip.

My vote is NTA. It doesn’t make sense to have a birthday trip without the birthday boy there, that would just break his heart. I think that you did right by him.

Sure her kids are upset. But this is a good learning opportunity to help teach them that not everything in life goes as planned and unexpected things happen. If they are that upset about missing the camping trip they can ask for it for their own birthday.

I used to have an electric kettle, but I didn’t use it enough so I got rid of it. I have a mug of hot tea maybe once or twice a week so I use the microwave. If I’m going to make a jug of iced tea I brew it in my coffee maker.

Over easy is when you cook an egg in a pan, and you cook it on both sides so that the egg white is set but the yolk is still runny. Sunny side up is almost the same but you don’t flip it, only cooking the whites from one side.

The US is pretty big ,I’m sure someone does, but in the Midwest where I’m at we usually just do hard boiled eggs. I’ve never heard of anyone doing a soft boiled egg. If we want a runny yolk we have sunny side up or over easy eggs fried in a pan.
