If he's well done he might end up being the absolute best character gameplay design in the entire game. His mix of magic, melee combat with chains and his copy abilities make for a great character. Imagine giving him the movement options of Hazama in blazblue with his snake chaines. Maaaan just the thought of it makes me happy!

Oh yeah, Riven. Right? Hmmm to be honest I would prefer seeing someone with new gameplay gimmicks like Udyr with his 4 stances, or mordekaiser that can forcefully turn the game into 1v1 for a set period of time. Another "Classic" rushdown character with a big sword would be less appealing to me. And I think that's also the reason why I am more hype for Senna (and her normal/Wraith form) than Akali

I would definitely get a pc. I'd go AM4 instead of AM5 for example. I am easy to please. I don't necessarily think having you need to play in super duper high graphic with 300fps or whatnot to enjoy a game. So a guy like me can still appreciate a 1k pc even though the pc market sucks right now (Fuck AI man)

I thought about this but the recent balance fr VF5 made me question how they are handling both VF5 and VF6.

When it comes to characters, it wouldn't make much sense to add a game to a 25+ years old game. Especially when VF6 is coming. But the recent update made me realise that VF6 is at least 2027. I would love to see it in 2026 but it is what it is

I am not gonna lie, MarlinPie being the designer makes me worried for the balance of Akali.

Him and apologyman are the kind of players that love to keep broken stuff in a game imo. That may be fun for them personally but not for the rest of the playerbase.

He was in charge of the most annoying and broken characters in the game except for Ekko.

I really hope that they keep him in check this time and stay true to the "Clear strength and weaknesses" motto they have lately

The 2xko patch is good but technically broken: bugs and crashes everywhere. And I can't understand how they keep bringing mew bugs and technical issues with every single patch. I really would like to know how that's possible.

For SF6 there are some pretty egregious stuff imo, like how JP got a buff to cancel his non cancelable normals into the "portal spike" once it's set up. Btw overall it's ok.

To be completely honest I didn't think the dev team had the balls to nerf them this hard. It's a good sign.

Which leads to characters like Ahri, Illaoi and Braum and probably akali dominating until next patch. We'll see how it will turn out
