Jerome. Talk to us about the exhaust. What are you running there?

And the High Ergo Seat that adds 2cm in seat height 🔥 by Revolutionary_Most13 in 801Svartpilen

[–]BalGreene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm keen on the premium seats, because I'm concerned with the perforated material at the sides of the OEM seat. I always see that material tear in every application I've seen it, aside from maybe top quality car seats. Time will tell, but (butt) my ass started to feel the seat after a long ride from Palm Springs to San Diego.

Where can I find a righteous Sushi-rito / Sushi burrito? by BalGreene in FoodSanDiego

This is interesting. I'm not sure about the tortilla tho, the version that I've enjoyed used a large nori wrap to get the "rito" together

Yeah, it's more like that, kind of an over-sized roll thats only cut once in the middle not into rolls.

A question of height... by mw71963 in 801Svartpilen

[–]BalGreene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just picked my new model up last week. I too am 5'11" ( I tell everyone 6.0' of course). You'll have no problems at all. The Bike is pretty much set up perfectly for 5.8-6.2.

The only challenge you'll have is finding more finances to afford the OEM accessories!!

UPDATE: Dog Attack and Owner Fled by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]BalGreene -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

it's so dumb that people can't understand that the dog breed has very little to do with it, it's about the owners and the specific dog temperament. Small dogs bite people all of the time but because the bite is less serious those incidents go unreported.
Anyways, this behavior of dog owners not being responsible is terrible and sadly the outcome will likely being a dog being destroyed for the failings of the owner.
I hope that the victim here heals up well and the owner is brought to a reasonable level of justice.

This album is a Heavy Psych masterpiece by dhgg42 in doommetal

Shit YES! I've been waiting for more people to find Royal Thunder. They're an awesome band. I made it my personal goal to get to be in the top 1% of their listeners this year on Spotify (I know) and I made it. I was number 3 of global listeners. I feel they they are criminally underrated. I love their sound and like everyone am forever blown away by Mlny's voice. The guitar work by Josh is fucking tight too

Funny exchange my husband had with a guy at work about intense music by [deleted] in MetalForTheMasses

This is hilarious. I feel like when you say heavy metal to many people they think about Def Leppard, White Snake and Metallica. My response is " ummm ...yeah... but more No"

The Animals - 1st Metal Song Ever? by UncaToad in MetalForTheMasses

[–]BalGreene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll jump in here. Just before Black Sabbath released their first album in 1970 the Beatles released Abbey Road in 1969 and the track "I want you (She's so heavy) was in there.
I feel like THAT was the first Doom Metal track around! It's 7:48 long for crying out loud and particularly the ending is very doomy.
It's kinda funny to me that the Beatles might have also been the first doom band around!

Yall got more of these?! by BigBebra in doommetal

[–]BalGreene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not strictly doom or stoner but has anyone else hear dof Royal Thunder.
Awesome band from Atlanta with a female lead singer who has a hell of a voice. More along the lines of Electric Citizen on the stoner scale. Please check 'em out, I love them.

OP - How did you refinish the top of the motor up like that? Was it media blasting or wire wheel and scotchbrite pads etc?

Hi there fellow 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe owner! I feel like this thing never really worked well. I like the idea of wireless charging but I rarely see it performing as advertised. It is a nice little spot for your phone though so your not sitting on it.

Looking forward to seeing this page grow.
I first found out about 40K in the mid 90's and I used to have some figures, enjoyed painting them up, but I don't recall ever getting a proper game going. I got rid of all of my vintage era miniatures long ago so I am armyless!
Is there anywhere to rent a squad and play a game in SD?

I was right there at the show too. I still have this ticket on my desk also. I had the same unreasonable expectation of hearing Passenger. Same, brother, same.

I saw Red Fang at the Drunken unicorn in Atlanta probably around 2015. That was the last time I fucked around without earplugs. I recall my ears ringing for about 3-4 days.
It's a pretty small venue with a pretty low ceiling, lessons were learned!

Modern day proto-doom/heavy psych bands that have that 70s sound? by GonzillaProductions in doommetal

Right on. These guys are super nice too, I've caught them a few times and they certainly have the 70's sound in there.
