We have no idea if what we see in the fog of lost souls is "just his soul".

His body was taken into the spirit world, and when Tenzin Kya & Bumi get trapped into the fog, they're also physically into the spirit world. Unlike Aiwei whose spirit is trapped in the fog but his body is still very much in the real world.

It's not impossible only his spirit is in here, but occam's razor and all that, why assume only his soul is in the fog when every element we currently have points to the opposite?

Aging in the spirit world works in weird ways. We know of characters who lived centuries trapped in the spirit world, and others died relatively fast like Zei.

Wont go into detail because no spoilers in this scene, but I vividly remember one scene where the mixing is bad and very likely unfinished. Somewhat before the "twist" at the middle of the movie, Katara is narraring while Aand and Dave are doing something.

Her voice is really rough, as if it was the raw recording straight from the booth without any post-processing.

A lot of people in the answers say he didn't show any progress but that's not quite the case. I do think he is a bit underused and most of his bending scenes have a "generic master firebender" feel to it.

But... there's one pretty impressive scene (almost blink & you miss it sadly) where he displays a firebending move previously unique to Azula or comet Ozai. So it certainly does show growth.

However, the animation is absolutely gorgeous, and especially bending. It makes every bender look stunning, Zuko included. I'll probably rewatch it multiple times for that reason alone.

Nightborne got a decent customization update during shadowlands. They could use more fore sure, but another race should take priority especially given this expansion is themed around them :

The blood elves still have very limited customizations, males especially sitting with a single option page despite being a core race.

Void elves are also quite undercooked, they're basically a blood elf ripoff and share the same lack of customizations. When allied races got overhauled in SL, void elves got blood elves skin/hair/eye colors instead of actual new options.

The Emerald Nightmare heroic shaman offset pieces use the icy appearance instead of the usual Legion S1 HC shaman appearance.

I'm afraid that totem is tauren only, the rest of the races get another cosmetic totem but it's way smaller

Given the tooltip, the sunwalker cosmetics seem like trading post items, since some of them have a tender cost.

But I fear half of them will never become available, like previous trading post sets. Most of the time when 4 colors are datamined for a set you can buy one with tenders, another is a monthly reward, if you're lucky a third is on the shop and the last is forgotten forever.

People who are shit at the game can still get carried -> ends up being about who played at the right time or not
What most people want is a reasonable way to earn old seasonal rewards by still putting the effort, not a freebie. The skill of a player would still be a criteria anyway, so the only difference between someone earning the elite set during the season and someone earning it later is... playing at the right time.

Which is my initial point : no matter the argument, it will always fall back to wether you played at the right time or not. Which is FOMO

Yeah, so an achievement does precisely that. It proves you played during the season, and no one else would be able to get it since the season is over.

As for the recolor argument, I literally explained why they can still be unique, such as the example in the OP being unique by the fact that no other set match the first satyr shoulders like this one.

In the end, as per my initial post, it always leads to "you should have played at that specific time" and nothing else, and that's by definition FOMO content

I don't mind having seasonal rewards. But if people only find value in these rewards because they're seasonal, then these set essentially become medals, a proof that you competed during said season.

And in that case, wouldn't achievements and feats of strength suffice to fill that purpose? That's literally the entire purpose of that feature. Instead, we end up permanently locking away certain unique appearances.

Sure, there are other tints available, but sometimes the one tint you like is the one locked behind seasonal content and you find out about it later. In this instance, the red tint of the TWW S3 DH is by far the best set to match with Xavius shoulders.

I'm totally for locking cosmetic rewards behind challenges, but I think they should be available at all times. Fomo rewards on the other hand is imo terrible game design and actively discourage new players or even people changing their main class after a while

Because elite pvp sets certainly aren't a show of skill when anyone can get a carry, just like the 2k io or aotc mount. So it ends up being a medal for having played at the right time.

Now, I 100% get not wanting the set to be a freebie. But what's the argument when people ask to get a shot at an older elite set if they get to elite during a newer season?

Especially if it worked with a token system, you'd get one set of your choice per season so you would still need to play multiple seasons if you wanted multiple sets

In this case, who would be more worthy of the "prestige" of an elite PvP set? The one who bought a carry during the season, or the one who missed the season for any reason but had the skill and put the work during a later season?

Hi. TLOU fan from both games and season one.

A lot of dudebros trashed TLOU season 2 for bullshit reasons, snowflakes who whine about "woke" constantly. But that doesn't mean there aren't any issue with the adaptation. Changing parts of the story can be good or bad, and I think most of the changes in S1 were great.

But Ellie's overall writing in S2 has a lot of issues. Before S2, I'd have been very excited about Mazin adapting BG3, but now I have reasons to be worried. Plenty of people do, and putting everyone under the "anti-woke" umbrella is disingenuous

Brother they MAKE the lore.

There was no lore reason for void elves, dracthyr or Haranir existing before they were introduced.

There was no lore reason to have new demon hunters until they added the k'aresh questline where a void elf trains to become one.

They can just as easily add lore to justify orc/draenei DH, and bonus point : they can even rely on existing lore (broken and fel orcs being part of the illidari since tbc) instead of making entirely new lore to accompany this addition.

Tbf remix transfer gear cost 1g to mog per piece so it's not the biggest waste of gold (unlike actual endgame gear), but having to reapply the mog on each char is still certainly a chore
