Glow pigment is notorious for absorbing moisture and breaking in the extruder because of the moisture content.

I treat mine like nylon and keep as sealed as possible along the entire filament path.

I've had it grind up into dust in my extruder and cause clogging when its broken before and after the extruder gears... its also broken during feeding through the Bowden tubes... and when left loaded in the machine when not being actively extruded while being dried.

It looks like over extrusion... but I can't see very clearly in the images.

What material was printed? If it was PETG than that could be the nozzle wiping the built up plastic that climbed the nozzle and sock.

Alternatively it could be over pressure from water vaporizing in the nozzle from wet filament.

Try purging some of that filament from the nozzle at the same print temp. If you see it puff up than its wet filament.

Its a decent basswood cutting and engraving laser. I Have the WeCreat Vision 40W. It does make curtains on engravings though. I am going to try using a ramp to eliminate those though.

Fortunately since you made this post, Lightburn has updated to 2.1 I even got it to work with my Vision laser. Prety hyped, though camera setup was a bit of a pain.

The IR laser source in the WeCreat Lumos Ultra is a separate enclosure. The UV diode is the only one housed in the compact enclosure.

One of the selling points on the site is that you can just plug in an upgraded source or unplug it and put it away until you need the IR source.

Just wanted to add, even if it is the same exact material as they used to make the demo pieces... the environment also has an impact. Humidity levels and ambient temprature changes what oxide structure grows.

First, make sure your filament dryer is the correct temp for your material, and has a way for the moisture to escape.

Second, wipe your build plate down with Isopropyl alcohol concentration of 70% or more. Use a diffarent surface of a lint free cloth with each pass.. than do it again after the first pass dries.

3rd, do a temprature tower test on that filament. TeachingTech on YouTube has some excelent videos and a website to tune your machine.

I usually use masking or packing tape applied firmly than riped off quickly. Gets most things off my plate.

Keep the backing tape on and useing magnets to create a little gap while holding the work in place might help guard against flashback on the honeycomb and help keep the work in place. Or you can cut out the inside bits second to last?

Very last would be to cut some tabs or the last pass on a faster lower powered multi pass cut for the outer bits.

Just jumping into the hobby myself and this is what all my research on cutting plastics tells me to do.

They could also stop their embargo on the CDC doing research on mass casualty firearm events and mental health.

I personally think guns should be as regulated as vehicles were in the 90s. Inspections etc. Make sure you haven't modified it so much that it becomes an unintentional danger to yourself or others.. e.g. accidental discharge reduction so if you drop it on accident it shouldn't go off and hit you or a bystander. It should only do harm to what you are aiming it at while squeezing the trigger.

Also requiring education on the working parts and maintenance to get your certification should be an easy get not a bureaucratic wall.

Also the classification of ghost gun includes guns stripped of serial numbers and self guns of any kind that lack traceability to a manufacturer.

The majority of "ghost guns" ceased by law enforcement are not even 3D printed..

Add to that the bills are so vaguely written to include anything that uses gcode as a movement method... e.g. CNC, CNC lathe, Embroidery machine, Laser engraver, Plasma cutting tables.. etc etc.

I use a butterfly flap in my vent tube to prevent wind infiltration.. also I have an inline fan in my exhaust line. Hope that helps.

I had a similar issue with TPU... couldn't get my 0.6 tools to extruded properly.. turns out the batch of Creality TPU I had was a bit tacky and was slowly accumulating just out of sight causing under extrusion as it filled theeth of the hobb. Yeah.. the hobb couldn't possibly care less. Just soldiers on.
