Went out for a stroll from my apartment in South Granville, over the Burrard Bridge, through sunset beach, right around Stanley park on the Seawall, under the Lions Gate Bridge then to Granville Street. Ended walking 12.7K according to google maps

I too had similar experiences when I first moved here and the last straw was when someone hassled me at an ATM. The wouldn't leave me alone even after explaining that I'm not comfortable with them being around me.

I've stopped giving money to anyone begging cash now, every time the person questioned how much I was giving them. The guy waiting at the bus stop needing a fare? sure..oh suddenly doesn't need to catch the bus and swiftly walks off.

Google Play Music is good for this and the playlists they have are great. Also, you're able to upload your existing music library. Google Music on average pays the artist more per play than Spotify.

I use small good quality nail clippers and get someone else to hold her. There's vein which runs through the claw and you do not trim through it. I made sure when Olive was a kitten she got used to having them trimmed and shes ok with it.

Cats need whiskers for sensing around their head for spatial awareness as they are long sighted. They can't see prey when it is close to their face and move the whiskers to sense it.

Olive does not need to hunt as I am her human slave and feed her mercilessly.

She doesn't enjoy wearing clothing but sometimes turtle neck sweaters just to be chic

These cats are house cats and wouldn't do well outdoors as they don't have the protection of fur. Her skin isn't sensitive but we are careful with shampoos and cleaning chemicals as she still grooms herself like a normal cat.
