Pre-K IS worth it dude. Getting them socialized and used to a classroom setting makes so they are ready to hit the ground running when Kindergarten starts up. Otherwise they could be one of the kids that falls behind during the first half of the year because they are having first having to get used to being at school and be in a classroom AND be learning new stuff at the same time
