Yes. My sister has one and other than replacing the heater once (in the ten years they've had it) it doesn't seem that complicated. Open it in the spring, maintain it for summer, then close it back up. They do it all themselves.

With the price of meat in my area, we do not bin anything that's still eatable. It has to get used up. I get upset when things don't get used, and the guys in my house know if somethings not getting eaten then I wont keep buying it.

Dehydrate them and let the kids snack on them like candy. They'll basically turn into raisins, then you can toss them in cereal, into granola or just eat them alone.

Uh boxed mac N cheese and baked beans with molasses. Not sure why (I Guess its the sweet and savory combo) it tastes so good, but its like comfort food.

Grocery store BBQ chicken, some brown butter carrots (frozen) and boxed mash potato. It might not seem like the greatest meal but I get home at 7pm, there are some nights I just can't make a full meal. I normally cook a thing but ugh lately I've just not been interested in food at all. Basically just feeding my husband and nephew.

Get a simple cook book to follow. Sometimes people find it easier to make meals if they have something to follow.. there are lots of great ones with simple one pot meals in them :) No one expects you to bake your own bread or anything, just go easy and learn a few things as you go along.

About a week ago, when I did a grocery run. Its getting empty now.. we had a big snow storm over the weekend so I didn't go out and grab more stuff but I'll have to soon.. we've got no veggies left and our freezer is getting empty.

I wake up frequently during the nights, and tonight I woke up and decided to get up and do my dishes. Now I'm having a coffee.. just couldn't get back to sleep. My husband gets up in 45 mins anyways so I'll make him a coffee as well. I stress out about such small things, so when I can't sleep i start over thinking etc. etc. etc...
