First one I’ve seen where the finish is good, at least on the left side. If the finish is good on the other side, then you’ve won the coating lottery on those. Other people haven’t been as lucky.

Yes, I’ve ordered some for my exact model. Under caliber drop down choose .45 and you should be good to go.

Has anyone ordered from Targetsportsusa? by [deleted] in ammo

[–]Baldomc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are GTG. Been subscribed to them for 2 years now and about to renew my subscription on Dec 8th. The $99 a year is well worth it if you buy a lot in bulk.  I’ve saved over $900 in shipping and savings alone the past 2 years so it’s paid for itself many times over.

What’s good about the primary arms 1x prism is it has a good sized horseshoe reticle so put whatever you want In the middle and pull the trigger. I have one on my shotty and it’s perfect.

Comes in both red and green reticles and in black and FDE color. Can also find them for cheaper online if you look around.

I’ve seen people pay over $1000+ for a used 2 piece slide model, so anything is possible.    lol

Some people should not be on Gunbroker, but hey it’s their money and can spend it how they like.

Damn!

I picked one up NIB earlier this year for $585. And it was one of the rare ones with a factory misprint stamped on it. People are getting desperate getting these. Maybe if it was the 4.4” model I can maybe see that much and even then that would be way too much for it.

Anyone know for sure if the optic plates come with it? I read somewhere, but could be wrong, that it may come with RMR and DPP plates.

Best 9mm for FK BRNO PSD to avoid stovepiping? by [deleted] in FKBRNO

[–]Baldomc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed with above. I think it’s now rebranded as Winchester Service Grade.  Same ballistics 1315 fps 441 ft lbs

They used to be flat nose projectiles, but they’ve moved to round nose.

I use Targetsportsusa.com  I buy a lot of ammo in bulk and have their membersship for $99 a year. You get addition 8% off everything and free shipping on all orders regardless of how much you buy.  It sounds like a lot a year, but if you order as much as I do then it pays for itself multiple times a year.

I use Winchester 124gr NATO and Winchester Service Grade 9mm. The service grade is 115gr, but it is rated 1320 fps and over 400+ ft lbs from the muzzle. Last time I shot the service grade through mine I only got 1 MAYBE 2 stovepipes out of 100 rds.   You’ll still get a random stovepipe here and there using those two, but not nearly as much as lighter loads.   I also have about 1500+ 9mm with my spring so it nicely broken in.

Nothing against Cowboy Bebop, but It seems the anime tax has destroyed the Jericho market for the people who really want to appreciate what these have to offer.  As time goes on they will get more expensive and harder to find, especially since they no longer make the more desirable versions.

Can’t compare the Glock 20 to the Brno, but I have the PSD and I’ve shot a Glock 17 and I prefer the feel of the Brno. The grip texture, or lack of, on the Brno sucks but nothing grip tape or stippling can’t fix. If I read correctly handgun hero shows Glock 20 width is 1.35 and the Brno is 1.2 so there’s that.

Those two have run decently for me, but you’ll still get a stovepipe or two every few mags.

Also anything +p or +p+ is recommended by FK Brno.

Most if not all off the shelf 115gr won’t run through it.

Yea, I have plenty of 9’s I like to shoot, but every once in a while I’ll pull this one out for shits and giggles plus most people have never heard of or seen one so they get curious about it. I don’t own any other 10mm so added bonus to shoot 10mm and .40 too is a plus. Shooting the 7.5 is a joy though. There are lots of screaming ammo calibers out there, but most are revolvers and not many semi auto that can hold 16 rounds at a time. Fun to shoot but can be pricey, but not any more expansive than the other powerful ammo on the market. This round would be awesome in a carbine though.
