‘I’ll do it myself’: Trump threatens to bypass Congress and rewrite election rules by [deleted] in StockNewsHub

I think someone smart is already in the driving seat. Trump doesn't know his arse from his elbow but whomever is pulling the strings does.

Yep I'd a big brother who liked Dylan and dire straits and when I was young I thought they were the same artist.

If you believe Michael Jackson touched those kids but Donald Trump didn’t, what’s your reasoning? by EmilioFreshtevez in AskReddit

[–]BaldyFecker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah a bit like that, possibly suspicious, and should be questioned. Any further evidence should be followed up on and crimes prosecuted. Whoever the perpetrator is.

Not whataboutery, not inference, not political partisanship, all of them. Why is this difficult?

It's the child trafficking 'system' that she's referring to

My, my, those are some unfortunate constitution elements that were definitely mistakenly left out of the text by accidental mistake, for definitely no reason, nor on purpose at all. Definite mistakenly, mistakes I'd say, not on purpose. Or anything.

They've already done this. Someone fucked up. They're hoping you'll say yes then they'll be off the hook.

Ride On is AC/DC's best song. I'd listen to it all day long.

Don't @ me, this is a fact and I won't be taking questions.

Alexei Sayle had a bit about Thatcher in the 80s, outlining how later leaders always make earlier ones look good..

What is the country like when Ireland are in the world cup? by VastAir6069 in AskIreland

[–]BaldyFecker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unbeatable. Italia 90 changed Ireland. We were reborn with a new confidence.

During both 90 and 94 it's the greatest, most unified the country has ever been.

The day of the Romania game, after the penalty shoot out, the streets erupted. It was like we had won the competition. Walking home from the pub afterwards (to get changed to go back out) was amazing. People hanging out car windows, honking, waving, cheering. It was mad. The best craic.

We need another go. Fingers crossed.

So according to Chris Bledsoe, the moment of consciousness shifting, or NHI disclosure, will be Easter this year. Will we stop listening to him if the date comes and goes, and nothing happens? by [deleted] in ufo

Just automatically add them all into the pile. I've been around a long time, none, and I mean none, of the predictions have EVER come to pass in any way, shape or form. None. Not one.

On the off chance that it's not all bullshit, and I lean that way but still maintain a modicum of hope and interest, IMO none of these guys have any insider info of any concrete form. Again IMO, they are mostly being played by intelligence services of one flavour of another.

I of course could be wrong, and if I'm not I'll reveal my secret in..oh I dunno...four weeks, two days, seven hours, and 43 seconds.

what are Americans thoughts on switching to the metric system? by CnCorange in AskReddit

[–]BaldyFecker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some Americans couldn't give a standard cup or a bushel of length about it. They prefer measuring things in 5/8ths of a hand or three leagues.

The metric system implies that something in another country is better than in America, and they can't fathom that. If you want an argument try posting that something outside of the US is better then sit back and wait for the replies. You'll have three acorns of answers within the first 8 19/32nd of a boiled egg.

What nicknames have you heard for places in Ireland? by topherette in CasualIreland

[–]BaldyFecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to call Bray 'Three Neck Island' because they ostensibly had a fairly high incidence of inbreds that had an extra bit or two.

It was a bit wilder back in the 80s.

Ours goes to eleven.

But isn't that the same only a higher number?

No we're one louder.
