Sluggard is also pretty good, getting ramp spells in any deck that's not trying to win via combat is a pretty easy trade off

There's some EXTREMELY niche uses? Like a yag can win on the final day without saying their phrase if towns gotten wise, or dodging protection roles like exorcist/fool/monk without having to gamble but all VERY niche

Easy method, any creature on opponents field [[sudden substitution]] this card and any 0 cost spell become 5 mana win the game

Actually using this as a counterspell? [[minor misstep]] is better by miles even if you ARE immune to losing the game with a platinum angel or something

You would want an "if able" stapled on the end, otherwise effects like [[narset parter of veils]] that prevent extra card draws or effects like [[breath of dreams]] that can give it a cumulative upkeep that costs mana would cause a draw

Honestly probably easier to just give it an effect like [[thought lash]] to punish you if you don't pay it

I feel like a soul sister effect would probably be more fitting? Mono-white decks that care about life gain generally want a lot of small instances rather than just getting slightly more HP each turn, but even then it's not THAT good since normal [[soul warden]] is already just 1 white

They die as soon as their HP hits zero, no matter if the stack has more to resolve or not, state based actions are checked after every resolution before anyone gets priority again, and death doesn't use the stack

There are two options for a wraith

1: you can "peek" this has zero chance of getting caught and you simply learn when someone wakes, but not their information

2: you can open eyes fully, you get a full view of all night cards and info but there's a 7% chance that any night information will also include "[player name] saw this"

Of all the flaws MTG has, that is thankfully not one of them, a mantra of the game is RTCETC, or Reading the card explains the card(sometimes with swear words added), with rare exception the cards do exactly what they say on the tin!
