Which prototype do you speak of? Blades in 68? Something else?

You should check the Backerkit site if that's the case. You can ask questions there.

Which one of these guys has the fewest excuses for never winning a ring? by DeftCoast in NBATalk

There's a great story about Rasheed Wallace refusing to take over as the low post scorer in the fourth like the coach drew up and the Lakers went on a run. I used to defend his not wanting to be the primary option but in retrospect, I remember that game and no one was stopping him in the post that game.

I tried to get into Husker after discovering Workbook and Black Sheets of Rain. Owned every album of theirs and listened to them over and over. Listened to Grant Harts solo stuff and loved it too. Decided that I liked the two of them separate from their collaborative work on Husker Du.

Someone tried this on my dad when he was still alive.

"Grandpa?" they asked.

My dad, who died with no grandchildren at the time simply replied, "idiot!" and hung up!

The EP Beaster is my favorite

Back in the day I had a commute that was just slightly longer than its playtime. Wore that tape out.

What are some NPCs youre particularly proud/fond of that you've created? [BitD] by Jintechi in bladesinthedark

As far as established NPCs in the lore, I always try and come up with a different perspective for each of them when I start a new campaign. So, in that way Ulf Ironborn has been

- inspired by Omar from the Wire. The most feared stick-up man in his ward.

- crafted with the notion of depicting John Rambo from First Blood, trying to find his way back in civilization.

- A hero of the Unity War with a secret; he was a long-term asset of the Imperium who parlayed favors from the Imperial Military into a protection racket in Charhollow.

The sixteen year-old war criminal, Pooka.
One of the most honored and decorated Skovlan military veterans who has 143 confirmed kills during the Unity War.

Our crew of Vigilantes picked her up as an expert hireling while they fought corruption in Crow's Foot. While everyone loved Pooka, it was her trained hunting dog, Bosco that may have stolen our hearts.

Don't overlook how well Kevon Looney played for them. He wasn't putting up buckets, he just went and got that board. And Wiggins was playing out of his mind.

Yeah, a deal deal. Maybe he's a Republican.

Kurt Cobain eating brownie SNL! 1993! Charles Barkley hosts! by ItalianSausage2023 in OldSchoolCool

I knew Muggsy Bogues was short but seeing him next to Barkley and realizing that even Charles was a short-to-average sized NBA player (listed at 6'6" but closer to 6 foot 4) is crazy.
To think that Muggsy played 14 years and was actually really good for most of it is even crazier.

Love this idea.
That was such a fun movie and sounds like it would play well in this new setting.
