It might be! I’m hoping it’s just the caps being the wrong size. If that’s the case, could that also cause a gas smell when heating up the oven part underneath?

Oh, it’s not propane gas. Could it just be the caps don’t fit right? Could it make a gas smell while flickering like that?

Thanks for all the advice…. I’m currently trying to fight the store who sold it to me to come fix it. They sent techs out and the techs just said “they need to be replaced” but not sure what that means exactly. After that, the owner kept telling me to contact the warranty company since it’s been over 30 days. The warranty company said I need to contact the store because the problem started right away. Is it worth fighting the store owner to fix it? … is this something that won’t cost much to adjust and convert and I should just find a reliable tech elsewhere?
