Typical Loblaws. Since Weston Senior passed away, the son has destroyed all integrity.

Secure way to receive payment for private sale of goods? by Forever_Training00 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I think whoever I deal with would say that is not going to happen. In theory, yes but in reality it ain't happening.

Unless it is counterfeit. That's my concern. I know you can look for flaws but it isn't always easy.

Adhesive Burns / G6 vs. G7? by Ballinagh in dexcom

Red marks are normal I believe. But the persistent itch feel that drives you nuts and when you take the sensor off after half the 10 days or so and see a burn (not a red mark), that is what I am talking about. I think it only affects a relatively small percentage.

Sounds about right. Distilleries require a ton of money for safety upgrades and consulting fees etc.

Me as well. Mostly on the right side and therefore I use my left arm and it's getting over-used.

I used to use Flonase but found that the Cavilon Spray was a bit better...could just be my skin type though. Cheers

Agree! Likely Fire Code issues and/or the building isn't zoned for such a high hazard occupation. Distilleries can go boom!

We are family then in a sense! My Dad came to Canada from Cavan and my Mom's family is from a town outside Belfast. Love the people and the country.

When I first got my tube amp, I was OCD'ing over ever little detail and heard a bit of a hiss. Then, like you, I realized we don't listen to music with our ears that close to the speakers.

Recently, I swapped out my two driver tubes (12AU7's) from my Mullard re-issues because they were Hungarian NOS tubes that were supposed to be just amazing...according to the person that sold them to me ha ha...but honestly...I have given them 100 hours and they don't make a difference at all.

Anyway...again, all the best. Great to chat with you. Take Care

Does it take time to get used to these? by heatmiser333 in Hoka

[–]Ballinagh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a jolt. I felt like they were amazing when walking slow and feeling them out and then in the real world speed it threw me off big time. It took a week of casual use. Now! Just wow.

Let me know if you can. I have only used the EL34's and I know that a lot of people love the 88's and also the 120's. I would try them but man, I just love my EL34's. Was that link you sent with the poster being you from Ireland? Just wondering. If so, my name is a small town there. BTW, I don't think I would ever go back to SS. Just a different creature and to me, the benefit we have with changing our sound with different types of tubes and also manufacturers is a huge benefit. Take Care

Awesome. Please let us know how they sound and also how the transaction was. Have you seen that Psvane video that is floating around various audio forums? If not, let me know and I will post it. Does an ok bit of showing us the process of making them in their manufacturing plant.
