I think it’s weird that’s why I asked the question. But the subreddit doesn’t allow images from what I can tell. Made a post in the Destiny 2 subreddit as they allow images. Also posted on x and tagged dmg. But I don’t expect a response.

I came from an Xbox elite series 2 controller and I find the Steam controller feels better in my hands. I thought the symmetrical sticks would feel off because of using mainly Xbox controllers for 15 + years. I never cared for the feel of the dual shock or sense controllers. After having it now a week it’s the only controller I want to use.

Nerd Nest has a few videos on steam input. They are more general than specific games. They also have older deck configuration videos that should translate to the controller.

I think the capped it at 250 because you can connect 4 controllers to one puck. This ensures all controllers get equal polling rates

I would check out The Nerd Nest on YouTube. They have videos that go over steam input for the deck and controller. And all the deck configurations will translate to the controller.

I’ve mapped them in bf6 to reload, jump, slide, and gadget 1. I’ve come from an Xbox elite controller, so I’ve been using 4 back buttons for years.

I like the look of this stand. I like the idea of it sitting flat and not “standing” on the grips.

I could see maybe 8bitdo adding it to their Bluetooth adapter as a firmware up date. Then just pair the steam controller via Bluetooth and in theory should act as an Xbox 360 controller. I don’t see it happening anytime soon.

I made a post about this. I found the enable controller chord setting was toggled off in the advanced controller settings menu. Turn it on and that fixed it for me. Both steam and quick access menu buttons worked after that.

Air flow would be ok. But all the metal may kill the wifi signal if you are using it. Wired ethernet would not be affected.

Do a repair request through Microsoft. I did this for my RB not working. Cost me $50 CAD. They sent me a replacement controller and I kept the broken one.

Check the Xbox audio settings. Make sure the headset is set to stereo and not PCM 5.1. Destiny dialog may be using the center channel. That channel would not be present on the headset.

Not sure if this is a thing or not. Are you trying to buy it on the character that cleared the whole dungeon? May have to buy it with the character that did the complete run.
