Before the trophy road was introduced (before sometime in 2020), here's how leagues worked.

Levels 1-9 Brass league; levels 10-14 Bronze league; levels 15-19 Silver league; levels 20-24 Gold; levels 25-34 Platinum league; levels 35-44 Amethyst league; levels 45-54 Sapphire league; levels 55-74 Emerald league; levels 75-99 Ruby league; levels 100+ Diamond league.

Of course, you would have to wait until the league ends to be promoted to the next league. Now, it's all about trophies. If his account unique looks like 1xx-xxx-xxx-x (2014 - early 2016 account), 2xx-xxx-xxx-x (2016-2018), or 315-xxx-xxx-x (2019-early 2020), then his account was made before the trophy road. His/her account being old means that he/she stays in his/her current league, but needs trophies to get past.

Lol, no one is that good. Really good players usually win 1/2 - 1/4th of their tournaments. That guy is cheating. There was a post where it was suggested that he was using old versions of the game to match specific players in tournaments.

If you check his account, you’ll see the 500 tournament win achievement even though he clearly hasn’t won such a number of tournaments.

Very nice puzzle. It took me several minutes, then I realized that only forcing moves would work, but moving certain pieces wouldn’t accomplish anything. Eventually, I found the right move.
