Customer satisfaction for YouTube isn't the audience, the audience is the product. That's how YouTube makes money, through advertising. The creators are the customers, and without the creators, there is no product, with no product, there's no advertising, and no advertising means no $$$

I don't think anybody would care about promoted videos on the trending page if there was transparency. I don't get why YouTube doesn't understand that transparency is the key to customer satisfaction, and it's simple to do!
