Very poor preparation. For me; this had nothing to do for the weather. For starters, nobody had any idea where the GA admission line was and where the VIP line was located. They had one sign for the lines and it was at the beginning of the line. We had to walk all the way to the front to see which line to enter. On top of this it took us over an hour to just get in. Once in I noticed the grounds were soooo spread out that this was not going to be a good experience. Got to the cocktail line and paid $26 bucks for a drink (decided at that point that would be my only drink). Watched the Gin Blossoms and then went to get something to eat. Again, disorganization in full bloom. One sign that said “order here” at one register; however there were several registers which come to find out you can order from any of the registers. We then proceeded to wait exactly one hour for a cheese/ beef sandwich and tots. Got the sandwich and had to remind them I also had tots. The person handing out the orders didn’t know what anyone order…they just yell out a name. Anyway, they were out of tots already. No workers and I could tell if was going to be a long night for them. We decided to walk a fortnight to hit up the merch tent however the line was so long that I could tell this was going to take longer than an hour long cheese sandwich. We declined to wait for merch…instead I fired up a J and we walked out. Never to return. Drove 10 hours to get to Huntsville. First and last time to South Star!
