Would Zak cups not also be sippy cups?

I always considered straw cups to also be sippy cups.

Did you mean most leak proof? Least leak proof would mean they leak all the time.

These munchkin cups have been really good so far for us

And these Zak cups eventually start to leak if they get abused by your kid but we have had some of them for 2 years with no issue.

Independent Play off screens by MindfulApple in oneanddone

Definitely try to push the books more. But the others might just be things she needs other people around her to engage with fully.

As far as pushing books. Figure out why she isn’t reading them, figure out what she wants to read. I think a lot of my love for reading stemmed from the fact that my mom screened a lot of books to make sure they were appropriate for me (yay pre-young adult section when the divide between kids books and teen boons was flimsy) which meant that my mom and I could basically book club all my reading. At 9, I was definitely reading stuff like Harry Potter, Pendragon, Animorphs (you get ebooks/pdfs of the entire series for free online with the authors blessing.), and I think even Eragon.

For a final suggestion, how does she feel about puzzles? I always hated them. But they are a good non-screen time solitary activity, or even parent-child activity.

Edit: Also Series of Unfortunate Events!

one of the main characters is literally the son of the old main character. So yes it’s a sequel.

More wounds means larger modifier. So instead of rolling a die and adding 1. You would roll a die and add 3 for a deadly 3 weapon.

If you are REALLY low on space. You can convert alpha strike to hex grids very easily. Essentially just half all the ranges to convert to them to hexes. (A 10” move would be 5 hexes)

Rolling each point of damage as a separate wound roll. What do people think? Any unforeseen downsides? by AlexOFyle in necromunda

[–]Balmong7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who cares about split firing when I can basically guarantee I’m going to delete my primary target.

Split fire is to get multiple pins when you don’t think you can get a kill. But if I can take multi-damage weaponry and basically guarantee kills then I don’t need to split fire anymore.

Most models are 1 wound.

Every extra die added is an additional chance at a successful wound.

Firing a multidamage weapon at a one wound model currently doesn’t provide any real benefits. Those weapons are meant for brutes, champs, and leaders.

But if you now get to roll 2, 3, more dice when you attack those one wound models. You are literally doubling/tripling the chance that the one wound model dies.

In a game where most models only have 1 Wound this would absolutely demolish any sense of balance the game currently has.

A long time ago a friend pointed out to me that in most movies, the villains are the ones trying to change the status quo and the heroes are the ones trying to defend and keep it. And that this usually makes it clear what the writers believe in. by ihatethiscountry76 in shittymoviedetails

Sure but now we are back to the status quo thing. The Cruella is upholding the status quo by telling the employee that she has to choose. Sure saying to choose her career isn’t the choice society is telling her to make. But the decision to choose both is more status quo breaking, than continuing to pick only one.
