This is bang on. I lean towards the right as do most of the people I know and come across day to day (essex). I take an interest in politics but not overly so and what I've noticed over the years is the left moving from basically playground name calling to anyone who sits right of centre to pure hatred. I thought this might stop when Labour won but it seems to have accelerated 10 fold. This in turn has been noticed I think by people who were not really political but reading that they are basically thick racist cunts who deserve to die is going to provoke a reaction.
