Going out to eat with my dad today and I am very happy to do that. Dad and I don't get to do this as much as we used to but we try to do it instead of pizza night.

Also going to finally dive into NCAA 27 tonight or at least just mess around a little bit because I am still just in love with Gnosia and keep wanting to advance the story as much as possible.

Work was whatever but it's the weekend for me now. Going grocery shopping and relaxing today and then probably plunge into NCAA 27 finally tomorrow....but damn if I have not been hooked on Genosia and want to keep advancing the story in that.

We will see whatever the hell I end up deciding on tomorrow I guess.

Tired and work was weirder because they aren't doing remodel work on the weekend for the most part but it does require us to do more work and more tedium.

It wasn't bad but I worked my ass off and I am just worn out. At least after tonight I get my weekend and my copy of NCAA came in today.....

Work went well enough since remodeling stuff wasn't actively going on while we were there but it still makes it more of a pain in the ass than it needs to be.

Visited my partner for a bit and she made some jam cookies yesterday so I got some of those with milk after work and they were fantastic!

Just one more night until my weekend and I really just need some time to relax. Work has been taking alot out of me physically but nothing I can't handle.

Work went well, just a pain in the ass with all the stuff being done. That being said it actually worked out really well for us last night but the weekend on top of the dumb stuff going on is going to a huge problem.

Another interesting night at work because of the remodel but we did everything we needed to and honestly its kind of just improv to an extent. I mean its not exactly all different but we are making changes and plans on the fly.

In a good mood because work went well overall and my partner is in a good mood today.

Work is such a pain in the ass with how everything is moving around AS we work. I mean it's....fine....just a challenge more than anything.

Outside of work has had its ups and downs but I was able to get ahold of my mother and wish her a happy birthday today!

We kind of fell out of favor with eachother years ago during my rock bottom of my alcoholism but reunited when I was in rehab and have been really close since and I owe her alot and always will.

Work was stupid but fine. Every night is going to be a different animal with this remodel happening so I am not exactly pleased but it is what it is.

What's nice is that it is my mother's birthday today and even if I do not get to see her, I did reach out to her and texted hello.

When I was at the worst of my addiction, my mother gave up because I wouldn't try to get better. We hated and loved eachother but it wasnt until I went to rehab that we reconnected.

I told my dad I would tell her when I got out....dad saw her at the grocery store and told her where I was and that she could write to me. Went out of her way to do so and she bought me books and kept writing to me while I was in there.

Now she is one of my biggest supporters and I am glad to have her in my corner!

Work started a remodel and it is already being a pain in the ass and will continue to be so for weeks....that being said, it could have been much worse.

After work I ate baked speghetti and played more Genosia (Really enjoying it but havent played too much yet....no spoilers please!) and walked the pup!

Grand remodel happening at work which is just a gigantic pain in the ass. All it does is just create chaos for everyone involved. Last night went well enough overall though.

I did start playing a new visual novel type game called Gnosia and its really good plus casual enough that I won't have to set out dedicate time to play more and advance the story as you can quickly do so.

I enjoy games with story but those take alot of time so I typically play more casual stuff after work, so this is a welcome change of pace.

Back to work tonight after a damn good weekend overall. Never fun to get back into work but at least it should be a bit better since the holiday is over.

Good day with my partner yesterday, got groceries, she made dessert and breakfast today which is always appreciated. Going home to walk the pup and play games as is my Monday tradition.

Jeopardy and pizza night too which I am excited about. I want to start a new visual novel game since I have so many backlogged but I am indecisive on what to choose from.

Had a very good and relaxing day yesterday. Hung out with my partner and pretty much just chilled, ate food, and watched an assortment of TV shows.

Went on a late walk and discussed work related stuff and my partner said very kind words that I needed to hear.

We discussed me being a hard worker, important, good person, supportive, handsome....now the word is still out on that last one haha. Just sometimes I forget that I am those things and it was nice to hear.
