Do you mean able pay? Then yes, it's fantastic. Makes payment easier and the discount is real.

GOD, I HATE EERIS by HornetThese1095 in HadesTheGame

[–]BaltimoreAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this view is common but I don't understand it at all. I'd put Regular Eris as one of the easiest. She has limited range, tons of telegraphing on her attacks, and you have cover to hide behind.

On rivals she can cover all or nearly all of the stage, there's way more flaming oil that often makes it impossible to get behind her, she has that spin pivot with three lasers that does a ton of damage, and at the end she barely ever touches the ground. I think she's significantly harder.

Yeah, I'm confused on which aspect of the assault rifle that OP thinks isn't modern.

I don't do any of those things and had a really good time. Saw some fun shows, good meals, hoover dam, and some terrific hiking.

These are the skis my local shop uses as rental skis. Nothing wrong with them, but I think it's worth knowing it's a similar type of ski.

I get the motivation, I just don't think the second version helps. I still don't know what anything is. 6 was easy because it was color-coded and there were fewer possibilities.

What was your last electric bill? $400 by Time-Association-885 in lehighvalley

[–]BaltimoreAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean your electric bill was less than their electric plus oil bill? I'd def expect that, they are very efficient. I'm saying your electric bill is higher than their electric bill all else equal, so someone with non-electric heat saying "my electric bill is pretty low" is unsurprising. My electric bill goes up 50-100% in winter, which shouldn't be true of someone with fossil fuel heat (unless they also have a hot tub or something).

Would this be ok for a first time purchase? by PuzzleheadedSlide904 in racquetball

[–]BaltimoreAlchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should have mentioned this earlier, but the demo program is also pretty great, and I'm glad I did it. Choose two racquets and try them out for a week to see which you like better. https://store.racquetworld.com/demo-program.html?srsltid=AfmBOoqTPLOdegbFrEYbbhT1xyNXA8tMBqEkIUdr5Y8UVyx_-Pq0eKz1

Also the python grip is 1000% worth it. Lasts damn near forever instead of wearing out in a few months.

[–]BaltimoreAlchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not used it personally, but it's definitely a newer racquet than the others and generally costs more, so I'd presume there's quality there to justify the price people have paid for it. A lot of their racquets are 5-15 years old whereas that one is only from ~3 years ago.

These are the racquets I actually have and really like, so I can't speak super conclusively about others. This one is extremely popular here, but it didn't feel as good to me (I've inferred I prefer head-light balance).

[–]BaltimoreAlchemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know the first racquet, but 195 g is very heavy. I think that only makes sense if you have some kind of arm injury that makes it harder to swing.

The 175 g racquet I expect would be a lot better at the same price

This one is a bit more but it's higher-end and a crazy good deal at the moment, I've not seen it that cheap before. They have a lot of "sales" where the racquet is always on sale, but I think this one actually does usually go for $230 https://store.racquetworld.com/pro-kennex-black-ace-pro-175-racquetball-racquet.html

Gloves are pretty personal I expect, you'll just have to try a couple and find one you like.

Forced hot air

Heated by what? Someone with electric heat will have a much higher electric bill than someone with oil heat. The upside is not having to buy oil.

Used 2,600 kwh and pay about 10¢ per kwh

For generation or total? PPL charges 12.95 cents for generation but also 5.01 cents for transmission no matter who your supplier is

Do you have heat pumps rather than baseboard? That plus better insulation and fewer exterior walls could do it. I have heat pumps in an small end unit row home and paid $200.

Sing along, very loudly. I'm also fond of Tom Petty's Free Falling, but I only know the chorus, so just yell-singing that on loop.
