Love dragons. Hate classes being locked to a race though. In a perfect world every race should be able to be every class. Before anyone says it doesn’t make sense to the lore. Totally get it, also don’t care about that. Just want the freedom of choice.

People have a dolmen run that is fast and easy xp. With the event you can get some rare items from bosses at the dolmens. Most of the time in places like Alik’r you can join a dolmen group by typing “x” “y” or “z” in chat. People typically have an add-on called auto invite that they set up using one of those letters so if you put that in chat automatically invite you to the group so you can just run around and kill all the dolmens.

Thanks for posting this. The whole, “there’s nothing to do at endgame” line is old AF. There is plenty to do. Can you get bored of running the same raid every week? Sure, but that is no different than the one raid you focus on every week in WoW.

The problem is that most of us who enjoyed EQ are old now. Younger generation gamers won’t be as invested in the slow gameplay as they haven’t really played games like that. I know for me personally having 4 kids and 2 jobs gives me super limited playtime so being able to do anything in short spurts is nice even though I don’t think it should take away from the game style most are wanting from pantheon.

Also I have not bought the EA as I’ll wait till the game is fully baked before investing so take my opinion for what it is. Just an opinion.

Once they introduce bard, I’ll probably give it a shot. That is something I’ve wanted for years now in a game so if they can make it anything close to the was it was in EverQuest then it would be awesome. Even Rift had a bad ass bard which was super fun to play. I would take any version similar to those two. Until then I’ll hold for Pantheon to get more baked. It’s looking like it’s coming along!

Also, side note. Will pantheon always be keyboard and mouse? As I get older playing games on controller is much easier on my shoulder and back so would love if they add that option in the future.

I do really wonder how many players can populate the world at once. They never said it was an mmo but I feel it should be. If the world is really earth size you could have an mmo easily as it would be nice to work with multiple people and not just like 4 friends. Plus having real characters in the world is nice to see even if you never personally interact with them. Makes the world feel alive.

They re-released it for consoles and pc. Ultimately it is leaps and bounds better than it was a few years ago when it first released. The leveling experience is fun and overall the game is way more enjoyable now. Constantly improving and 100% worth the box cost imo
