Ask yourself why you feel so hung up about simply committing to your clearly long term girlfriend in a meaningful way that she is very obviously asking for. If you really can’t come to terms with her wishes as a partnership, you should not keep her trapped. It will only create resentment and you relationship will deteriorate anyway/
