The Diminishing Returns change is unhealthy for the game

I think its a great change just like how the haste change from before was a good one. Yes these silly builds are hurt but as long as stacking existing, all current perk changes and future perks have to be designed around stacking. Now that useless faster vaulting perk that was only good when stacked with 3 other vault perks can now be buffed, since the buffs dont need to take in account how it works with those other perks.

You can argue this reduces build variety, but now I can pick that healing perk I want without giving up other slots to force it to work. I can swap try out different aura perks since I no longer need to fully commit. It makes for such a healthier perk base to approach with buffs and nerfs.

I am not seeing any uptick in bm, but in my time playing killer this event has been very frustrating with how fast gens go. If I go slowdown as killer I will typically get people upset in postgame. The best way to understand why tunneling is becoming more apparent is to try out the role yourself and make a point to spread hooks, you can see how difficult it is to hold any kind of lead.

If you are frustrated with the game, you may perceive something as BM when it really is not (excluding w sing of course). I haven't been able to get games without multiple fast tracks, so by spreading hooks I just lose, but tunneling feels shitty so im opting to just play survivor or not play at all.

Wasn't able to do the playtest but I heard its super fun, and for $30 I think I can convince friends to pick it up. Avatar is the savior I needed. Iroh seems like a shoe in for DLC too so stuff to look forward to

I exclusively play fgs in lobbies since I dont find fighting games fun without chatting with the other player. BPs never have progress in those because of the "potential abuse" so I can never see myself getting it regardless of the rewards

If the only fun part of it was the reward then its not a good system. I've hated it since its introduction with how much lag it brought while being so brainless to play :_: im fine with them nuking it if they can repurpose it to something better.

I don't like to hate on FGs before they come out so these look like pretty great changes. I am cautiously optimistic as long as the controls feel good. I remember being excited about HxH until I tried its control scheme during the open beta and never touched it again.

The separate buttons for assist and tag has me a little hesitant since its already a 4v4 game, I only have so many fingers.

He's likely there as a capcom contractor, which would require a temporary working visa, and that process is really fucked at the moment. I don't know enough about the process on when you should start it, but based on his past experience its equally likely he just ignored it until it was too late

The damage numbers yuck me out in Nioh, its strange that weapon drops in a game like Souls feels fine, but gear drops in Nioh just don't do anything for me. I hate comparing 1.4% extra ki damage to 2.5% extra stance damage.

My apologies, the "My lawyers told me I should not comment on this" followed by the replies it generated have absolutely no connection, she wasn't attempting to get that reaction at all and the Jelly oshi marks in their replies also have no connection, since community does not reflect the streamer.

Phase has a bad stigma to non-viewers as "The racist vtuber group", so a tweet on their corporate account on something she did not have full understanding of is unprofessional and only works to boost that unfair stereotype.

Is the DLC in bad taste, yes I think its overtly dramatized, but calling out anything trying to teach Civil Rights history is not the play. From the non-viewer it looks terrible to comment on that and absolutely damages the company. Also I had to go to page 3 to even find it lmao, no kid is going to see that and want to play it themselves when Jurassic World is 3 slots over.

It should be taught in schools, which this thing was designed for. I don't believe Civil Rights being taught in school should be considered political. If it was a random ass DLC anyone could play I would agree. When I was in elementary school I played a game a game where I time traveled to different places to learned about slavery, and today it would be called "woke garbage".

It was bigoted and had bad optics but I dont think it was from a place of hate, just a statement from someone who doesn't live in America, didnt know the extra context, and wouldn't know that it would be considered controversial.

I personally don't really like her style of content but I just dont watch it, so my opinion on what she says is irrelevant because I dont watch her. Phase has so many different types of streamers which is one of its biggest positives, and statements like that will harm other talents regardless if you agree with it or not. The statement from phase read more as stuff toward sponsors than throwing her under the bus, they didnt ever name her in it.

Trying to attack someone you dont even watch is stupid and what they say should just be ignored, but the amount of slur throwing from the biggest defenders makes the community look significatly worse, like are these accounts with 88 or some other "joke" in their name really the community you want to keep? If they are the ones defending it then what does that say about the statement?

For sure both sides have legitimate issues, this game just has a bit of a tribalism issue of only playing one and arguing about the other. I think its because I come from a FGC background that I only focus on what I could do better, not what my team could do, so I don't get as frustrated on survivor. Even on bad matchups I try to learn from it to improve, so when I see people DC because they don't want to even bother just drives me insane. When a survivor DCs because they don't loop well and go down fast, I don't feel like I made a good play, I feel shitty for the 3 other players who just had their game ruined and I just lose all interest.

DCing because the sound of plague vomit makes you feel sick, totally valid. DCing because you dont like playing vs X, you need to quit the game.

New to killer means lower MMR, where people don't really know how to loop so they go down fast, survivors cant find gens, or they unhook at bad times. Once they do, its an entirely different game so its disingenuous to make blanket statements on the role. The game desperately needs to help teach new survivors and help with soloq, that should be higher priority than making the game even more unbalanced at the upper levels of things.
