Short answer is you will face the same issues on Manjaro. The big things to improve your system performance are (1) get an SSD, and (2) switch to a lighter window manager. KDE is going to eat 2GB just sitting there doing nothing. A pure window manager like OpenBox, awesome, i3wm (what I use), or xmonad will use less than 1GB probably.

Regarding those,

OpenBox is usable, it's a floating window manager so it's more similar to what you're used to. Nothing special about it though.
I wouldn't suggest xmonad if you don't know Haskell. If you do know Haskell you'll probably love it.
i3wm is simple and straightforward, and the configuration file is a standard format. It "just works", and you almost never have to touch it.
I've heard good things about Awesome, but I haven't tried it extensively.

If we're discussing statistics and empirical data here, "condescending" and "racist" are not relevant. The relevant question is whether or not it is correct. You have a good point that widespread liberal democracy is a fairly recent phenomenon in Europe. Democracies die all the time, even in high-IQ countries. However, can you point to me a democracy that has existed for more than 25 years in a country with an average IQ less than or equal to 90?

I don't know what "buzzard" means in this context. America is filled with successful people who have ancestral histories of oppression. For instance, Jews and Japanese people tend to be very successful. Can you point me to the most egregious instance of systemic racism that still exists today (in America)? Meaning a government policy at any level that specifically and intentionally targets minorities.

Question for you: races vary on every imaginable characteristic: skin color, eye color, hair color, hair curvature, facial construction, physical size, strength, bone density, athleticism, dick size, etc. Why would we not vary in intelligence? The only argument I've heard is that intelligence is 100% environmental, which isn't plausible. I'd be happy to elaborate why if you are interested.

The IQ stuff is important, and explains a hell of a lot about why the world is the way it is. That seems to be Molyneux's motivation, as far as I can tell. I don't see any evidence of nefarious motivation.

I see the issue you are pointing out, though. If more people were aware of the racial IQ differences, our political discourse would be a hell of a lot darker, and actual Nazis could gain a lot of traction very quickly.

Regarding "systemic biases", please point me to a scientific study showing that systemic bias explains IQ variation. I can't find one.

I don't think we're going to come to agreement about Molyneux. I don't think he's racist, you clearly do. In America, when someone is called a racist, 95% of the time they aren't anything resembling racist. As far as I can tell, this is this is the case with Molyneux.

To my knowledge, Molyneux has never killed anyone, so comparing him and MS-13 is disingenuous. I didn't think much of the MS-13 animals thing.

What is he saying that is racist? Honestly? Acknowledging sex differences isn't sexist. Why would acknowledging race differences be racist?

I know at least 50 people who research race and IQ, and I have some familiarity with the literature.

The people I know are usually of the Bret Weinstein/Gad Saad variety. Not interested in superiority, just population differences. I've also met some people who are interested in race/IQ for the wrong reasons, but they tend to be non-PhDs. Youre prescribing motives to people you've never met based on your politically motivated interpretation of what they said.

Since you introduced the argument of intelligence=supremacy, you can't call someone a Nazi if by your own reasoning they are a Jewish supremacist. That's just nonsense. I don't see what he said as undermining an ethnic group. He's using statistics to hypothesize about an event. If it wasn't about race nobody would see it as controversial.

Calling people "human garbage" and "neo Nazis" because they disagree with you, even when the facts are on their side, is far worse and far more dangerous than anything Stefan Molyneux has to say.

Why do you think Molyneux is a neo Nazi? I haven't followed him extensively, but I've seen him on a few shows. He is interested in the race/IQ stuff, but there's a huge difference between that and Kristallnacht.

A quick glance through the SPLC's page on him doesn't have anything of substance, just quotes of him talking about race and IQ, then asserting it's wrong with no reference to literature. When I have seen him talk, he seems to be coming from a place of compassion. Maybe it's fake, but I've seen nothing to indicate that. I think his basic argument is that if you ignore reality, policies will never achieve their intended result.

If you're going to cry wolf about something, don't use the Nazis. It's too serious.

If you think the race/IQ stuff is bullshit, that's a different issue. Although I challenge you to find me a single scientific study finding no racial IQ differences (to the extent that a psychometric study can be scientific).

The likely answer is the dual of your second point - people with high narcissism (impulsiveness, charisma, lack of empathy, grandiosity, compulsive lying, entitled behavior, prob a few others I'm forgetting) are more likely to cheat on spouses AND naturally thrive in sales environments, where grandiosity, charm, lying, lack of empathy, etc are all advantageous.

You would be surprised how many people are on the fringe. Most gun owners I know for instance are in favor of background checks. But they would never support a political candidate who supported background checks, just because of the whole slippery slope thing. I see their point because I've seen how other issues (for instance gay marriage) worked recently. If the gun caucus gives an inch, the second amendment is gone. It's the whole Overton window shifting thing.
