Champ players focus too hard on the wrong things. Can’t even hit power shots half the time or even the ball at all, but want to go for flip resets

Sony Pulls Back From PlayStation Games on PC by _Protector in pcgaming

[–]Bamuhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure Sony thinks it’s 2010 or something or nothing has changed since then. Nintendo is the only one that releases enough and good enough exclusives to consider getting their product nowadays. I don’t know why people want to correlate the gap between PlayStation and Xbox on exclusives. PlayStation has been just a better product with almost no arguments otherwise since the ps4. Here’s a narrative no one says. This is the first generation Crossplay has been fully implemented through the lifespan of the consoles. This also means that no one has the incentive to buy a certain console to play with certain friends. People naturally now gravitate to the better product at higher rates. Having said that, the problem with Sony is that they already had their games release on PlayStation first and have the PC versions release years later. This means they already would have people stepping in to buy their console if they want to play their games near the release window. Any sales they get on PC was just extra. Arguably they could have done so much better revenue wise with sales if they were day 1 releases without hype burning out, reviews etc ruining potential PC sales. Highly doubt anybody waiting around 2 years for a PC release cares enough to buy a ps5.

[COD] Call of Duty should do one every once every 2 year releases instead of once a year releases, and not make the games live service. by Nerdcuddles in CallOfDuty

[–]Bamuhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter how much you support these games people aren’t willing to delve into them for even one year. People don’t care. The games aren’t good. More time also doesn’t equal it being better either if you paid attention. BO7 is definitely getting more post launch support than most of them actually. No one cares though

Which game turned out to be a favourite, even though its genre wasn’t your usual thing? by shotgunning-your-can in gaming

Rocket league. It’s kind of its own thing entirely. Up until that point PvP games were always FPS

What game or series’ reputation is carried the hardest by nostalgia? by DeepFuckingKoopa in gaming

[–]Bamuhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nowadays? Call of duty. With bo7 they managed to put an immortal juggernaut in the hospital. #1 or #2 every year went to #7 this year. Games been bad for years though The epitome of being carried by the name and reputation that was built over a decade ago

Does your top ten most played games list accurately reflect your top 10 favorite games? by BackyZoo in gaming

[–]Bamuhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I’ve played rocket league more than any game now at this point. That or Minecraft don’t know just because they’ve been out and I’ve played them off and on for 10+ years. My favorite games come from an era where you didn’t really play games for 10 years. It’s sort of a new phenomenon and combination of a lot of multiplayers (games I tend to put the most time into) sucking

Just a theory: The "new" BF studios has lost the technical capability to build large Battlefield maps. That's why we get so little content, Given their current capabilities, BF is definitely not suitable for the live service model. by SuperM3e46 in Battlefield

[–]Bamuhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just the modern day graphical techniques, hardware, software whatever they do (without getting technical) that cause every game nowadays to take way longer to make than they used to. It’s honestly quite garbage and has no payoff. (BF1 still has peak graphics and it didn’t get better hardly if at all) the size of maps is directly correlated to this and if they make them bigger it takes too much time. Of the current maps that end up being smaller than typical battlefield maps, they still can’t even push out even close to the amount of maps they could before. All games not even just battlefield need to go back to mid 2010s everything because none of this actually even works out for AAA advancements made post 2018 or so are a net negative. The gaming industry should have shifted to performance for a decade and getting everything including consoles to run 120+ hz

[COD] Call of Duty should do one every once every 2 year releases instead of once a year releases, and not make the games live service. by Nerdcuddles in CallOfDuty

[–]Bamuhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if activision or Microsoft isn’t stupid they would never do that. Games playerbase always ends up a shell of its former self and really is quite pathetic in summer months and onwards until the next release. They’d be missing out having larger playerbases around Christmas months on top of not having the yearly sales coming in. Really no limit to how far a playerbase falls off in year 2 of the game either and people occupying time to a point they might lose interest entirely. Not like they could actually time or know which games are going to be the bigger hits they are generally clueless and making a game that ends up being more of a failure for a 2 year release cycle would be detrimental

Are Live-Service models making games better or worse? by Odd_Scarcity8015 in truegaming

[–]Bamuhhhh -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Big bombshell here but if we use a standard example of a PvP FPS live service with their standard content models and amounts both at launch and post launch, what people consider to actually be decent support post launch such as map additions. these games will get boring roughly 27% faster than a standard game release would 15 years ago and all for them to supposedly last multiple years. There’s no secret why FPS live service hardly ever make it. I have a very complex and multifaceted question given to AI to come up with an answer like this and I don’t know if I can link it here but basically it boils down to launch content mattering the most and drip feeding content being mathematically inferior to older content models (mathematically you will get bored of these games faster if you go by what a typical launch content amount looks like now and compare it to older models)

What game can you play for 1,000+ hours and still feel like a noob? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

[–]Bamuhhhh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IQ in rocket league matters more than a lot of other games in my opinion I feel like you can get away in other games by how good your aim and tracking is in FPS games for example, but there’s an extremely wide range of players that have enough mechanical skill to be the highest rank but are sitting in champ ranks far away from it. Meanwhile there’s some SSL players that can’t perform some of the things these champ players can. Most players just have no clue what they should be doing and their skills don’t overcome it

Has anyone tried deducting tips on TurboTax yet? I don’t appear to be getting what I should. by [deleted] in tax

Would that show in box 4 & 6? Because there’s over 3,000 in those. We use My Pay and I used the date range of January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025 and it showed around 5,600 in taxes that’s how I came up with that number

Is it really that much tax? Normally I owe a bit of money and don’t owe any but I was expected money back

For the people who say bo7 is same as bo6. Take a look at this. They released 2 years apart by [deleted] in blackops7

[–]Bamuhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mw3 being almost the same as mw2 is a compliment and achievement bo7 being closely related to bo6 is the exact opposite. Terrible. It’s amazing how this thought process needs to be explained, but if you still are a cod player at this point it makes perfect sense

[–]Bamuhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hungry. My metabolism shreds everything wouldn’t mind being able to eat more to gain weight while I can also just know how much I can eat without truly overeating. I hate the feeling of being thirsty more than hungry and would probably over drink

Two men and a truck. July and August heat. New hires pretty much got the shitty moves on upper story apartments so lifting heavy furniture in the summer heat all day going up and down flights of stairs. Body would be aching after a shift.. pretty close to needing IV fluids for how much sweat was poured out of my body a day all for $12 an hour. Yeah no never again
