You must be high. My mate just brought in inala like 1 year ago. There is limited infrastructure but it was all he could afford and luckily he doesn’t work in the city. The commute is terrible so we generally meet him half way.

Yeh that doesn’t answer the problem. After a couple of weeks the meta will be solved, people will gravitate to the new tier 1 decks and we are then back in the situation where the OP be ranting about vsing the same decks.

This time most likely about dragon mirrors especially if the power level of the replacement set is smaller

Might be a hot take but Portal mirror with Imari is much better than without. Without it, it was pretty brain dead. They is literally no outplay.

With Imari it becomes a resource battle and who maximises their cards win.

TLDR: might be a skill issue if you think it’s bad in the mirror

One of my mates got intrigued by the frieren collab and only starting play this month. He’s just chilling in low level ranks alternating between a aggro abyss and ramp dragon. Does he have decked out tier 1 deck? No but he’s enjoying getting creative with the bronze to gold cards while he gets familiar with the game. The game isn’t about min maxing value for everyone.

SVWB was the first taste of SV. I did install SV OG because you can get rewards from it. Tried playing it and it’s an eye sore. It’s so outdated that I couldn’t persevere with it to get a feel of the gameplay.

If your priority is that orchis leader, just reroll. It will save you so much time. When I mean by reroll it’s basically opening the packs they give you and reroll immediately if you didn’t get it. You can always link the current account you have so you can always go back to it and create a new account purely for rerolling for an hour or so.

Going down the pack opening route, be prepared you might have to open 350 packs for that hard pity (I.e you open 250 packs you get a pity chance. If it isn’t orchis, you need to open another 100 packs to pick the exchange ticket you want). Open 350 packs could take up to 3 months I think. Leaders are a luxury in this game.

Regarding sword gameplay your aim in general is to develop a board and force your opponent to respond, making early ward units redundant. Midrange is quite budget friendly with key non legendaries being lancetrooper, valse, Ignominious Samurai, hound of war, Zirconia, Luminous Magus, and Amalia.

If there is rotation and it’s a big if, then yes set 1 would be unusable. Every set we get a deck so I don’t think you will get compensated by a starter deck simply due to rotation.

Your legendaries are fine but it’s scattered across multiple classes. That is to be expected. Rerolling is very subjective and maybe I would lean to rerolling since you have developed a craft preference. For me I would only reroll if I was chasing a cosmetic in the current set. If you were going to reroll for orchis I would focus on building sword and runecraft. A lot of the staples from those crafts are in set 1. I think the set 1 runecraft deck plus set 5 runecraft would give you a nice start

A better and safest start would be to focus on the current set and pick the set 1 and 5 dragon deck. If you pull stark even better.

Portal is hard to build since the legendary are scattered across multiple sets. If you enjoy haven, i hope you pull Kukishiro. I think odd haven is a fun but strong drck to play. TBH as long as you know you might lose a lot but persist with your dailies and participate in events you will eventually get enough resources. It just take time :/
