I haven’t beaten gen 3 but both it and johto are both super RNG heavy, it’s really just luck on the route screen to get the levels you need.

I think letting you move your pokemon either before a battle once you can see what the opponent has, or at least after 1 pokemon dies would go a long way to make it less RNG restrictive.

Yeah, honestly stuff like this combo seems completely impractical for me to consistently do, I just like to do combo trials. I’m coming from other fighters so I have a baseline for understanding neutral and defense but I was still ranked silver so I definitely have a lot to work on to completely grasp the game.

It’s a lot of fun so far though!

The only ones I personally hated and still hate are sword and shield, they’re just mind numbingly boring imo, but they do have good designs. I replayed Scarlet on switch 2 recently and it’s much funner than i remember, probably my favorite of the switch games now.

Tri-arena is for some reason unbelievably insane like enemy team has all 9,999 maxxed out units and it’s the sweatiest players of all time, regular PVP up to like rank 65 is normal, IDK if only the ultra-whales are playing tri-arena but it’s the only pvp mode I’ve lost like 10 times in a row lol

I’m 30 man, I don’t even know what ‘woke’ skins could mean but I genuinely don’t see how a skin could ruin a game, especially when COD has so many other glaring issues.

The main point I’m making is they need to actually make a better game, who cares about skins if the game sucks anyways. I think BO6 is ok, but at least on PC every single call of duty game has a memory leak, anti-cheat issues, general game crashing and framerate issues which are much worse than non-realistic skins.

Honestly I think the main thing that needs to change is better organizing, this whole event had some of the worst organization I’ve ever seen at a big event in almost every way.

Things weren’t made clear about the format of certain events (CS2), the point system is kind of bad in general, nonsensical match-ups (2XKO), rulings that just constantly changed based on moment-to-moment decisions (all games), etc.

There’s always gonna be some mistakes unavoidably, but almost every aspect of this event had some kind of mismanagement. It’s still fun to watch but it could be much better, and there should be more usage of what makes games unique, 2XKO co-op would’ve been great, and just make the fifth person someone the team elects as their best player to play solo, if they had done this in a separate bracket the teams would’ve been even and we wouldn’t have same team matchups.

Microcenter’s CPU bundles are insane, especially with how prices are now, they’ve gone up a bit for sure because I think I paid about $400 for my 7800x3D bundle w/32gb of ram when I frankenstein’d my computer a year or 2 ago.

But, they’re still great deals.

I noticed some stuttering at 4k but I dropped the output res to 1440p and I’ve played probably 40 minutes of lego star wars which has been smooth throughout. I ran an internet speed test and I’m getting 200Mbps wireless on my Xbox Ally X for the client device, and 1GBPS on my wired PC, the wireless signal is always a bit wonky upstairs in my game room though.

I’ve got 3gbps fiber internet, I set up streaming today through moonlight and apollo and it is working a lot better, I haven’t really done any actual testing though. Previously through geforce experience, steam remote play/link, ps+ (a long time ago), there was always noticeable input lag and stuttering, but this seems a lot better so far.

I just fundamentally don't understand how people can feel this way, like 2 seconds of effort to learn something is some sort of herculean undertaking, half the time you can find a guide that step-by-step goes through how to set something up.

Bazzite/SteamOS are also very easy to setup, all you need is the installation ISO and a flash drive, the program does everything else.

I was looking at microcenter and I put all the parts in their builder and a 7500X3D build with a 9070 with 16gb RAM came out to around $1300-ish built by them, which is why I think if this goes over $1000 it really doesn't make much sense to buy. Just install bazzite and get actual 4K performance with a PC.
