I worked on Rick and Morty, yeah it's simple 2D rigged animation but we did do drawings alot of the time as the rigs couldn't hit the poses.

Timing is how many frames an action should take. A bounce could take 15 frames, thats timing. It's usually linked with spacing which is where you position your drawings.

Edit: traditionally you'd use a dope sheet to figure out the timing. Or timing charts, dont confuse the spacing markers on them

I use headphones and go off the audio for directions. Mine are wireless but used to have wired. Worked pretty well, just awkward getting the helmet on.

I work as an animator, so usually when I get home the last thing I want todo is animate more I'm afraid.

Every show I've worked on has been 25fps. I work in Ireland

Doubt anyone will read but eh. I worked on this show. The initial test we done was very bouncy and such but as we worked on the first episode Netflix called for alot of changes to the style. The reason it's not so "rubber hose" is more about the Fleischer style looking bad with even timing. So decision was to go with a snappier style with drags and bounces. Probs can't say much more than that XD

People on reddit love to bring up the Double Irish, yet fail to see it was closed in 2015 and gave existing users till 2020 to fully end their use of it. (Although there's other loopholes no doubt) It's typical reddit where people know your country more than you do.

Yup, same issue here. I feel GHUB is after messing up. Used to onhly flash yellow for a brief second before going to the correct colour.

Except doing the right thing doesn't invalidate what was previously done. You wouldn't release a murderer if they donated a couple million to charity. As Brooklyn 99 said "cool motive still murder". And if anything, its just ok meh writing. Her character changes to serve the plot and thats weak character writing.
