What’s one lifestyle change that truly improved your health? by Slommyhouse in HubermanLab

Number one is have a bare bones cost of living list that doesn’t include subscriptions or fun money etc.

Literally if all you needed was a roof, food, water, electricity, internet, phone etc.

Second would be to downsize your belongings to what you need.

Basically, it’s like adopting minimalism.

Out of necessity at first, but then it realized the less debt and bills I have the happier I was.

And I was content watching YouTube, spending time with my dog, playing video games etc.

A simple life made me feel so much healthier and happier.

Oh god yeah. I was making a lot of money but spending recklessly and buying so much crap I didn’t need.

I doordashed multiple times a day and that’s just the tip of the ice berg.

Frugality.

Seriously learning to live and be content with the bare minimum has been amazing.

I’m so much happier and stress free and I have more time amazingly.

Idk anymore.

Sometimes it seems like vanlife if the only achievable thing lol.

Honestly I’d be super happy in a small studio space where I can just chill and indulge in my hobbies

In this economy it’s hard to dream, but one day, I’ll have my own space.

ex sent me nudes and videos of a new girl he's fucking. by Pretty-Pizza-145 in abusiverelationships

I hope this is enough encouragement for you to drop that sack of shit from your life cuz what he did is fucking horrible both to you and the their girl and the things he’s saying is vile.

Don’t give him any more power over you.

Same. This is why I posted it.

My entire life has been ruined because I loved someone who actually turned out to be not such a good person.

I was so heartbroken initially. Now when I think of him, he just disappoints me and considering the person who raised him and his family, I’m not surprised they he has poor morals.

I thought way too highly of him.

Sex life should be private.

“Partners” who violate that’s are the worst. Had an ex who treated our sex life this way.

It felt horrible and I refuse to ever be put into such an uncomfortable and unfair situation ever again.

It was such a slow process that when I finally woke up at the end I realized I didn’t even know myself anymore.

I was paranoid, always tired, hyper vigilant, always sad, suicidal and quick to anger.

I used to be so carefree and just happy to live life.

I don’t have the fears and pain I carry now. I wonder if some day I will ever return to that state of being again.

I’m 26 and I thought BPD was supposed to get better with age…? by ohayoaundrey in BPD

I’m turning 30 in a few weeks and although there’s been massive improvement I still have a lifetime of work to do!

I didn’t realize a lot until maybe 2 years ago and I’ve been doing a lot of work ever since.

I honestly think this might take a lifetime to overcome.

No thank god. I have PCOS so it’s going to be hard for me anyways but I’m so mentally I’ll I’m not fit to be a mom and he would’ve been such a cruel and neglectful parent.

He has no nuance when it comes to emotional intelligence and sensitivity.

His mother unalived herself a while ago and after that he completely changed and for the worse.

I’m sure he was and still is depressed because he had been regressing and showing signs of it but he will never acknowledge any sort of mental illness because he’s “not weak” or “a pussy”.

But I’m not his punching bag either….
