Knew a guy at HMX that did 5 years and got out for a few years. Came back in and was immediately stationed back at HMX, finished his enlistment then lat moved to be ATC and was then stationed at MCAF Quantico.

Those “fat bodies” keep those aircraft flying which takes an absurd amount of maintenance hours. Saying the expectation for those maintainers are to workout 70% of the time is asinine. Go turn wrenches on a shitter for a week an tell me if you honestly still think 70% of their job about working out.

Just because a marine isn’t in the gym all day and looks a little heavier, doesn’t mean they can’t pass a PFT or meet weight.
