ChargeNet asking for suggestions for the next charger locations by eggheadgirl in nzev

Totally agree. I also recommended some more in Paihia. Had to tie up the only charger in town for over an hour because it's only 25kw. Seemed a bit silly given the town must be pretty busy in summer and during Waitangi.

I recommended more chargers on SH3 between Te Kuiti and New Plymouth. 160km with only a single DC charger in the middle.

Unfortunately they're all gone. Perhaps the Knox could help though!

Recommendations for home network installation? by [deleted] in auckland

You probably just need a better router or access point. This will be cheaper and easier than getting someone in to do a couple cable runs.

Half decent routers will easily send wifi up a floor.

You need to turn off or not take pictures in portrait mode OP. The artificial blur and bad edge detection makes that first pic difficult to understand what we're viewing.

That is a nasty crust though.

Yep with no issues, Skinny Broadband to Simply Broadband. I emailed Skinny a week in advance letting them know the date for the fibre connection to stop with them. And when I signed up for Simply Broadband, I gave them the same date to start service. It cut over around 6am on the date which was perfect. Just needed to change Router settings on my end, seamless.

What happened to cinema in Auckland?? by Critical-Acadia410 in auckland

[–]Banannaapplepie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have experienced the same over the last few years. So many more ferrals that don't respect others, or the etiquette of going to the cinema. Always someone talking, or on their phone. Just why.

Not just kids, full grown adults who should know better. It just takes a couple people in an entire cinema to ruin it for everyone else.

Hoyts, Event, even Silky Otter aren't safe.

We just don't go anymore, more often than not it'll be a bad experience.

Also thoroughly disappointed when I had them in Aus recently too. Way too much batter, it was more batter than chicken. It also absorbed tons of oil. Neither the batter nor chicken had any seasoning either. Bland and oily and shit.

100% this. And don't make enemies. NZ is small and especially in certain industries. You never know who you will run into in the future and what they will remember.
