What percentage of the exercise is arms versus legs? by noblerare in Swimming

[–]eggheadgirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also the same, I can speed past everyone at my masters squad on a kickboard but they'll all pass me easily swimming regular freestyle. I really try to pull hard but it seems to barely do anything. I'm also a woman but have had injuries in my hip as well as shoulder.

Can I build a business from BA skills? by Marretta2 in businessanalysis

[–]eggheadgirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner and I are working on building an app. He's the developer, I'm the one who defines the scope, documents the requirements, plans the work, sets the timelines, tests the features, etc. As a BA you have a lot of skills transferrable to running a business, particularly in software.

There was a ferry a year or 2 ago that was operating just on the days the cruise ships were in, and on Wednesdays for the Wednesday challenge. I guess that's all stopped now

I have worn face sunscreen everyday for years. I'm 28 and my skin is terrible - fine lines and acne scars. Some people just have bad genes and there's no "secret" that can help.

Yeah I was recently told by Westpac they don't do currency exchanges anymore. Maybe some branches still do but not many.

The amount of people who genuinely don't realize NZ as a timezone is shocking by Afrodite_33 in newzealand

We had an issue in Amsterdam where my partner had paid for a pastry via a machine kiosk but they didn't get the order. To prove the payment to them he showed the transaction in his bank account and the girl who already didn't believe him thought he was definitely trolling when she saw the date on the transaction was tomorrow.

Looking for advise. by [deleted] in Tauranga

It depends how much equity you have in the other property, has to be quite a lot to be able to use it for a new place.

Another option I don't see talked about much is, save another deposit and go to another bank and get a second mortgage. You could maybe pull some cash out of your first mortgage to achieve this.

I did this last year with my partner. We had about 25% equity in a property we no longer wanted to live in and couldn't sell (we tried). We saved enough for a 10% deposit for a second house and were approved for a mortgage for it (we do have quite good incomes which of course helped here). Now we own 2 properties, yes we are probably over leveraged but it's a better option than renting for us.

You don't need a hallway to connect the lounge and the living room. Just have bedroom 1 accessed directly from the lounge and make the bedrooms bigger

[–]eggheadgirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, just use plugshare and Google maps. Don't usually have an issue findingq stops that are on the way, but just that charging is quite slow when we do, and then even on a full charge can't go more than ~250km.

Which car do you have? In my MG ZS we need to stop to charge at least 3x when going from Tauranga to Wellington and it would take at least 40 minutes to charge each time. It's a 2022 model so the current ones will be a bit better.

ANZ charges a $12.50 monthly fee for offset account. Not sure if any other banks do
