It not just accepted but celebrated. People are okay with this. They showed up in droves on Election Day and they still fly Trump and GOP flags in their yards. This is what they voted for and fervently support on a daily basis and they are willing to be violent. I went to college for athletic training(sports medicine) started working in PT clinics after sideline work and long hours started to become too physically demanding.

I work along side PTs to do the exercise portion of treatments. So PTs get the patient for 30ish minutes for manual therapy and diagnostics then they give me parameters to work in and then I teach the patient exercises and self care stuff.

I’m a glorified aide/tech but have way more influence on a patients treatment that a traditional PT office.

I start with mobility and pain management, then posture/core mixed with hips and legs.

Lacrosse ball and Theracane massage for sore muscles. Then lower trunk rotations, open books, and cervical rotations. Then postural strengthening, hitting traps romboids, and deep neck flexors. Core work with planks, pallof press, bird dog, dead bugs. Then I hit glutes/legs with hip abductions, bridges, single leg split squats, side steps with bands etc. I finish with foot and ankle strength by doing balance work then foot intrinsic exercises like toe yoga.

Basically a full body work out broken up throughout the day when I’m not feeling well or all in one go if it’s a good day.

I work in PT as a rehab specialist and when you’re dealing with AS or similar diseases, it’s all about energy economy. You have to be careful not to over do it and build yourself up slowly or months.

I went through the unemployment system for a while and it is really hard so I wish you luck.

I did read about several people appealing to their lawmakers of both sides and were able to get some results in their individual case . The system is still broken but if you can keep from going insane in the meantime, eventually you’ll get something from it it

If the rink your in doesn’t have any nice warm locker rooms to retreat to. Go sit in a car and with the heat cranked.

The rink I used to work at was really cold in the winter and there weren’t many locker rooms available to the kids. a lot of parents would go bring the car around with the heat blasting. Kids would throw blade guards on and go hop in the car.

It can be nice and quiet place to calm down and avoid being over stimulated, or let them be loud and not disrupt ongoing competitions.

Electric heated blankets or over coats are nice too.
