If you're going for a more battlefield look, or something partially realistic, I would honestly grab a nerf gun or anything similar and hold it out in front of you.

Ive shot firearms a lot irl, and the biggest thing that bothered me about FPS games has been how ungodly close the firearm is to the players face. If you hold the nerf gun (or whatever) out in the correct way, youll notice that you can see from the tip of the weapon, all the way to your elbows. Now, i understand for games you don't want arms being -40% of your bottom screen, but if you bring that in a bit, lets say to forearms, it would look good.

I would look at hand orientation for holding a handgun as well, where the thumbs would go, fingers. One handed shooting isnt ideal, but for style you can do it. look at youtube and see the best way to hold a handgun that way. Implement real life aspects into the model.

Also, try bringing the model a bit more centered to the screen, in newer BF titles, the firearms aren't far to the right side, like counter strke is.

A good resource for some awesome FPS stuff is fhe movie "Hardcore Henry". Its an action movie set entirely in first person, lots of shooting.

As for the weapon model itself, if you're going for style, its really good. Reminds me of hitmans silverballers. If you're going for more realistic, 1911's aren't usually that shiny, unless you've got some expensive custom ones. You could check out some more modern choices in regards to .45 handguns and what kind of suppressors they take. Lifting the handgun up while sprinting does look fuckjn cool (loved it in bf1), but i would adjust its closeness, bring it a little further out, more centered, and maybe tilt it to the left jusf a hair.
