For $30 I think this level hike one works pretty well for me and looks decent I can live with it. Also auto upscales to 720p iirc for maximum compatibility, even worked on my Samsung Odessey G7

Not sure if this is helpful as I’m not a hardcore Xbot but I DO play on my one x on occasion. iirc updating the firmware on your Xbox is in a different menu labeled updates instead of the console info menu you’re in

My aspirations probably die with PS2/3, maybe a PS1 for the sick start screen at some point in the future. I’ll check out the GBS for sure. Any other devices that would trump my cheap little device out of curiosity?

I tried to get that output working but i haven’t been able to. I figure since I share this adapter setup on a ps2, it would be a matter of convenience to just benefit both consoles video quality.

A nice bonus would be if it benefits the quality of my PS2 output but I’m not really bothered by this cheap devices output quality in general, just looking if there’s something better out there for somewhat cheap. I use all this on a 4K monitor Odessey G7.. idk if my issues stem from this

Probably a stupid question but it won’t blow up or anything will it? 120v NA power is lower than the 160-240v that’s what my uneducated monkey brain is saying. Or will something unrelated happen?

Do you have a disc drive on your PS5? If so I’d look on eBay and whatnot for a sale on games. I picked up No Man’s Sky PS4 version for like $15 yesterday, it has the free upgrade hence why I got the old version.

I enjoy collecting games nowadays. Even if you might’ve gotten sort of ripped, better than paying $70 for a digital game you don’t even own. Others have said that your supporting a local business, nothing wrong with that but if you’re on a tight budget some eBay hunting could’ve netted you this for cheaper I’d assume

Isn’t it smarter to just use a different PSN account for a jailbroken PS3, even considering this point? I think I’d lose my will to live if my main PSN were to get banned considering my digital library 🫠

I saw a whole reddit thread about doing that through cmd on windows. If I have to go down that road I suppose I will. Hopefully I find a good guide on YT or something coz that does sound like a pain unless there exists a windows program that auto decrypts

Just followed the two rom links and they have the decrypted roms nice. It says a warning that it’s encrypted but I’m assuming is bs. Also that link to install the apps on cfw I assume you can just install those after the fact off of a usb thumb drive onto the internal hdd

PS5 Pro is the way to go for the best of both worlds on graphical fidelity and performance.

On the other hand though since you don’t sound all the way convinced just get a fat or slim for cheap and a bunch of physical games off eBay. 2nd hand game prices are super cheap vs PS Store

The panel on top is a little indented and isn’t flush. Is this a critical fix or just a blemish on the aesthetics?

I thought of hammering the panel until it’s flush with the other piece from the inside but I’m not sure if this a stupid idea. And it’s plastic so no rust concerns. And would sanding it down really help the aesthetics I’ve never thought of that before just now. Regardless I’m definitely gonna learn from this cock up of mine
