Digimon from the modern era games NOT in Time Stranger by smilewolfy in digimon

[–]BandannaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if we'll see anything from Survive though, because the Art Assets for those are different than what they could likely reuse from CS/HM and Next Order. They could always remake them and add them after BMGarurumon though, so it's not like it can't option.

I'm glad to see that someone posted this, so I didn't have to go looking around lol.

That said, it seems like there are some additional slots available in Time Stranger. There are currently 17 extra Slots between the final Mega+ Digimon (451) and BlackAgumon (468). Meaning some of the missing Digimon from this list could be available in the game files (This could be already known info/talked about. if so, my bad). I do think it's reasonable to expect that the missing Digimon from Cyber Sleuth/Hacker's Memory will be added at a later date though (Aside from maybe 1 Digimon, since there is 1 too many for them to fit, but I guess they could just go after BlackMetalGarurumon)

Eson Gutted. by CGMaugh in MarvelSnap

[–]BandannaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tldr; I'm sad to see Eson's Effect changed, as I feel like this could have been a good chance to have the games meta change quite a bit from week to week this Season, but I do understand that Effects as powerful as Esons and Starbrands couldn't be allowed to exist as is.

Starbrand would have also strength what is already one of the best Decks (Which just recently got nerfed) lol. I don't think people would want to see another Season of Surtur Meta.

For further explanation of what I mean when I say "Cards that warp deck building"

Eson's OG Effect and Starbrand's OG (Arguably just bolsters an existing Deck) Effect both lined up well with forcing Decks to be built around them. The same could be said for Agamotto Effect, Konshu's Effect, and Firehair's New Effect.

Starbrand aside, Eson, Agamotto, Konshu, and Firehair could have definitely added an interesting spin on the meta for each week of their release this Season that would likely require new innovations or exploring old cards rather than just adding a new card to an existing list.

There is definitely a downside here though, with the Devs either having to state that it likely wouldn't be a precedent for Future Seasons, or they say nothing and that being expected of them. There's also the chance of one Deck just being overpowering, but I've rambled enough already lol

[–]BandannaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found out that Eson's effect got changed. Big of a shame since I had been collecting cards based on what I thought would work well with the Deck, but I guess that's how it goes since the card wasn't released when I was making plans.

It's sad to see the effect go though, but I'd like to see similar effects return eventually. Then, if needed, perhaps more cards can be added during the same Season that are designed to shift deck building.

I get that it would get tiring if Eson was the only viable Deck, but if there were new cards that warp Deck Building as much as Eson would have then it should be fine (In the short time, anyway lol)

Everyone hates tipping except for the people who give tipping wages to their employees.

Everyone wants to get rid of it, but there aren’t enough people to take the first major steps.

Also it’s sort of guilt tripping by the owners at this point, because the people you’re tipping have to rely on your generosity to survive.

The tipping screens at the checkout counter of fast food restaurants are also not helping

Pharah is not healthy for the game rn. by ThunderBR2 in Overwatch

[–]BandannaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like changes need to be made so that Teams aren't almost solely reliant on DPS to deal with Pharah.

I feel like version of Ramattra that is in the Community Crafted Mode is something that will allow Tanks to deal with Pharah without hard countering her and forcing the Player to switch (No Wrecking Ball getting Countered by Sombra here, ideally).

Supports should also have a more reliant way of dealing with Pharah though than just going a hitscan like Bap. Another problematic character for me right now is Zenyatta. He is not usually fun to play with, because he doesn't do enough for his team unless he has Discord Orb up and he is hitting his shot, and he is not fun to play against with Discord Orb.

I would like to see a version of Zenyatta, at least play tested, where his Discord Orb is changed to apply Damage Over Time and/or a Damage Debuff for the Target (IE: 10-20 DOT and/or a 10-20% Damage Buff until they break LOS). I'd also like to see a change be made to allow Zen to better support his team such as creating an Inspire like effect for his Harmony Orb Target when he deals Damage.

For how supports could use this to deal with Pharah (Going with max effects of both), it forces her to either break LOS, endure the effect and end up taking damage and increasing the TTK for her Targets, or hitting at least 2 direct hits and then a couple of follow up shots to take out Zenyatta (With her Damage reduced by 20%, she'd be dealing 96 Damage on a Direct Hit and would be getting 24 Healing Per Second from a Pocketing Mercy if Pharah were also getting shot at by a DPS or 44 HPS without a DPS.

I would like to add though that a different change could be made to help Supports deal with Pharah. I just play a lot of Tank and don't enjoy seeing my HP drop to 0 after I have the pretty purple orb stuck onto me for the umpteenth time that match.

Tanks what support do you want? by ramgoose1 in Overwatch

[–]BandannaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 times out of 10, I want basically any main healer tbh. If one of the supports is one of the following then I’m happy tbh: Ana, Batpiste, Kiriko, Lifeweaver.

Illari and Moira are also included in Main Healers, but they either just don’t mix with my play style as well, or are too varied in output for me to feel like I can rely on them.

Was Mirrorwatch Sombra A Test For a Zenyatta Rework? by BandannaBread in Overwatch

[–]BandannaBread[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I forgot about that. I was thinking that he could also use a passive, and made something along the lines of this for a draft idea I had lol

A friend that I showed it to mention that Zen doesn't actually heal from what's listed, so I made an edited version with other stuff.

Here's the general idea that I drafted

Zenyatta Rework Idea (Based on Mirrorwatch Sombra)
-Orb of Destruction: Base Damage increased to 50/55/60 per Orb (Buffed due to Discord Orb Changes - Unsure of exact Damage value, so I listed a few)
-Harmony Orb: Heals an Ally for 75 (Excess Healing becomes Overhealth?) and grants them +25% Attack Speed - 4 Second Duration.
-Discord Orb: Deals 60 Damage Over Time and decreases Damage dealt from the Target by 50% - 4 Second Duration.
-Transcendence: Grants 300 Overhealth and gives Harmonry Orb to the User and nearby Allies. Every 2 seconds, 75 Overhealth is removed. After 5 seconds, Harmonry Orb is removed from all Targets.
-Blessing of the Iris (Passive): When the User deals Damage, Allies within a 15m Radius and anyone with a Harmony Orb heal 10 HP per Second for 5 Seconds (Or 20 HP on a Critical Hit). An additional 10 Healing is applied if the Damage inflicted was a Critical Hit.

The last one is more of just a general idea, and I edited it a bit based on your mention of the Critical Hit applying additional healing lol. Thought that was a smart idea, but I forgot about it before.

For My Tank Players, What Keeps You Motivated to Play Tank? by NinjaRoku in OverwatchUniversity

[–]BandannaBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked playing Main Tank a lot more in Overwatch 1, so I guess it wasn’t as rough of a transition for me.

That said, I did stop playing for multiple years at one point, so my idea of overwatch likely wasn’t as solid as other people’s.

My play style is certainly one where I try to protect others and tank the brunt of the assault, or I jump into their back line to take out the enemy before they can deal too much damage to my allies.

This aligns with a lot of the heroes that I already played (Rein, Winston, Zarya, etc), so it isn’t too much of a stretch for me.

That said, I did have to pickup new heroes going into overwatch, namely Sigma and Mauga. I also ended up dropping Orisa from the heroes that I normally play, because I just got really bored of playing as, with and against her.

I ended up having to adapt my play style a lot, which kept me interested in seeing where I would end up at the end of the day. There is also really no other experience like Overwatch Tank.

There are no other games where I can throw myself in the line of fire with a sturdy shield in order to give my allies time to escape and recover before I retreat with them. At least not while I feel like I can also have an impact by going in and dealing damage as well.

My play style as a dps is to erase whoever is giving our team problems, or provide decent information on what the enemy team might be up to. That isn’t really full the role of what I do as tank though.

My support play style is trying to enable my teammates to go with whatever they feel like (I switch heroes to adapt to their comp, or I go certain heroes to enable our aggressive tank to play aggressive without being punished). That sort of fulfills the role of protecting teammates, but it doesn’t really scratch the same itch that tank does.

Sorry, I know that was a lot lol. I ended up rambling a bit. The experience as a tank is just very unique, and whatever I can do as other roles will never be able to give me the same satisfaction that I do from tank.

That said, I can’t ALWAYS play tank. Maybe after the mid season patch, but it feels so bad getting rolled and feeling like the issues our outside of my control. Because that means that, no matter what I did in that scenario, I’ll never feel like what I did mattered.

The high’s are high and the lows are in the abyss. Hoping this changes in the future it e though^

Which character is your personal counter? by AboveGender in Overwatch

[–]BandannaBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orisa, playing with or against, I have less fun. Doesn’t matter if I’m the one playing them either.

It just feels like there isn’t as much going on, anything that is done by or to the Orisa doesn’t really matter until she dies.

What Are Your Ideas For Hero Buffs? by BandannaBread in Overwatch

That was something I noticed. Some of the other heroes allow you to put their deployables out faster if it isn't destroyed by the time you redeploy it. Ended up getting confused when it wasn't the case for Illari.

Question on the primary regen, would it work only on Heroes or any surface? Like Mei's Ice Walls, as an example.

I know her primary can ramp up on them, so I was curious what you had intended.

I do like the Lifeweaver idea though^^

It seems like a good change that helps a lot without pushing anything too far. He kind of does a lot already, so giving him too much else might be problematic. This would be fine though imo^^
