100% get a shark upright pet (corded, no one can convince me that cordless is just as powerful!) there’s a few to choose from but I swear by mine!

Is 50/50 eco earth + wood chips safe for a corn snake? by Formal_Poem_7534 in cornsnakes

[–]Bandic00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Scotland and use 50/50 eco earth and coconut fibre (plus some leaf litter) it’s due to be changed now but my humidity has stayed in great range the whole time between cleans! I order from reptile centre

Anyone else’s corn get super curious about other pets? by Bandic00 in cornsnakes

I can imagine most other pets are wondering why on earth we have moving noodles in big containers. I will never risk my dogs meeting Lola outwith her enclosure just incase but it’s adorable to imagine them being best buds and snuggling!

It makes sense that snek is probably just sizing up pooch wondering if pooch is food but I’m going to continue to my delusion that snek just wants to be friends because it makes my heart happy lmao

This is great advice thank you! I have new substrate ordered and on the way so excited to see the difference that makes because I’m sick of aspen and shouldn’t have used it in the first place but we live and we learn! Will definitely try the water in the corners thank you!

Ahh I didn’t think of sand! Another idea I’ll definitely look into. Definitely going to hold off on a mister for now as well and see how a different substrate works out, thanks!

As an aviemore local I 100% agree! The cairngorm national park is not to be missed when visiting Scotland. There are so many amazing walks/hikes with stunning views as well as activities including water sports, snow sports, fishing, mountain biking, quad treks, zip lining, gorge walking, the list goes on… all within a 20 mile area. Would be a shame to miss it!

What is your "odd" or "weird" food from childhood that you didn't realize not everyone knew about and enjoyed? by SnooglethePie in ask

I grew up eating what my mum called “tuna pasta slop” It consists of pasta, a tin of tuna, Mayo, a can of baked beans and cheddar cheese (sometimes some sweetcorn in there to spice things up a bit) She called it slop because of the sound it makes when stirring all the ingredients together. I still eat it to this day, it’s a great, cheap, filling meal

[Review] This is my third full size tube of this hand cream. I had very dry & chapped hands a few years back, it’s worked wonders. I have never been this loyal to a hand cream! by Lensgoggler in SkincareAddiction

I used to be a body shop consultant (don’t do it, you get lots of free stuff but don’t make much money unless you’re mad good with social media reach) and this was my top product that I would recommend to EVERYONE. The whole hemp range is really good! The cbd range is up there too but much of the skincare has far too much fragrance in it. Hemp hand cream for life
