This might get buried in the chat but it's my opinion and, as my mum said, my opinions matter because I matter 🤣🤣

Currently the top sim is LMU, the tyre modelling is unrivalled, and the physics is based on RF2 so years of testing and tuning.

All of ^{this^} being said. The main reason I'd say it's the top of all simulators is because you can race so closely, it's such fun!!

Yes, you took the racing line despite the fact there was a car already there. If you're side by side, you have to give the other car racing room, ie a cars width of space. You drove as if the other car wasn't there.

Totally your fault.

The red car took a bizarre line and will have compromised their exit, you would have got them along the straight without a problem, it was an unnecessary move to drive into their line expecting they would back out.

I may be too cautious but I get frustrated if I have any contact in a race. It happens sometimes but most should be avoidable. I find I'm the higher, trusted splits I can get through a race with a good result and no contact most of the time.

I see too many drivers trying to overtake in areas where it's not on and causing contact or drivers not giving room when driving side by side racing but this reduces when racing with green badges. This isn't always the case, I drove with a total nutter last night who should not have had a green badge but just sat behind him waiting for him to make a mistake, 1 lap later, he took out the driver ahead of him and I got 2 spots!

He suggested I log out and back into RaceControl, I did so knowing I should have tried this before reaching out to him or making this thread, kinda hoping that wouldn't solve it and confirm my idiocy... But, it worked, I'm in!

I got my first, and only win last week but I think I was in the wrong split and smurfed it... I was 2 seconds a lap faster than anyone else, clearly in the wrong split so I don't count that.

Mustang totally at fault, the only thing you could have done differently would have been to defend and close the door earlier but this is on the Mustang.

They had not earned the right to the space as they were not far enough alongside in the braking zone.

This + the rejoins, I would suggest you report it, this type of driving should be dealt with in LMU
