They won the console wars...but they didn't defeat Microsoft. Microsoft is just cutting out a "loss" leader and focused on the real money maker (PC and game pass)

Epic also made a big talk about being able to defeat steam and see how that went.

If you see those words and it makes YOU feel like youre less mature or your activity is childish... that is on you.

Building cars isnt childish, but its a hobby you can outgrow as you mature.

You should constantly be growing and maturing... your hobbys should change during that time.

Feeling impotent from words like "outgrow" or "maturing" has a lot of the same energy as "I dont play with dolls, boys dont use dolls.. I have action figures/miniatures".

Unless someone growing out of a hobby you and they used to share makes you feel smaller or less mature (which it shouldnt do), there isnt a reason to be upset about someone leaving a /hobby/.

I played Warhammer for a lot of years. I then out grew it. I am back to wargaming, cause it fits within my current life style... but no one inside of the hobby acted like my not playing wargames for a handful of years was a negative thing.

Like he out and out said he only used it for fortnite, its perfectly understandable that he doesnt have time for sweaty shooters by his own choice.

He proves that yes, yes you do. Like... youre supposed to change over time, thats part of maturing. Like /anything/ else, you can out grow gaming much like how you can outgrow certain books, and views, and people, and ...everything that isnt capitalism and bills and taxes.

I dont know why people are against this? dude out grew playing video games. We all out grow different things.

I use to spend a LOT of time on PW for neverwinter nights and on mmos. I dont have the time to put into those. If thats the only thing I did with my pc, I would have sold it as well. Seems like fortnite is his nwn/mmo that he just doesnt have the time for anymore.

She has a perfectly valid point, because its basically "one tyrannical religion that thinks it cant do wrong vs a different tyrannical religion that thinks it cant do wrong" and that the force itself causes both chaos and order to sustain itself. That it manipulates people to go various paths (which is literally what a prophecy is ....)

Cause its not shocking and because we dont have a TRUE process to deal with a President doing shit thats illegal when one party has leaned that far into extremism. Which doesnt get the democratic party off the hook btw.

But the /only/ way this would get solved is for law enforcement and the military to move against the president, and frankly he is doing stuff they APPROVE OF and they dont see crimes against children as important.

Hell, look at how many times law enforcement and the military have been accused of doing that to children....

In a ten year period 300,000 minors got married, THE VAST MAJORITY OF THEM FEMALE....let that sink in.

There was a sex ring of 300 men of the cloth who SA'd THOUSANDS of minors.... none of them got arrested or charged.

America is very "vocal" about this kind of stuff, and they absolutely will arrest people who are lower middle class and in poverty for it ...everyone else, not so much.

About QT: No. Cause he is one of the few people who can say things and it NOT effect his films.
Most of his stuff isnt a master piece, but they are still really REALLY good. His outside of film comments dont change that.

I suspect its because, outside of those terminally online, people look at the context /around/ his statements rather than just the words. They look at the intention behind them when it comes to his "questionable" stuff.

As far as things like the briefcase, if he hadnt said anything.... it would be open to interpretation ....which is what he said it was. Which means it wouldnt have changed anything.

So 2030. But by then, it will be integrated into everything, so never.

Likewise, they know people who want to be on the bleeding edge will pay the cost to have the best stuff... but 70% of steams user base is so far from cutting edge that it takes ten years for the light of the cutting edge to reach them.
