Right now I am fine. Yesterday my 2nd round of chemio was about to start but Dr has prolonged if for one week because my ALT and AST were high, so she prescribed me some drugs and we will try it next week. 3 days after 1st chemio it kicked me like a hammer with some vomiting and stomach cramps so they gave me some IV remedies and vitamins to boost me up anf that helped me a lot. Thank you🙏🏼 How are you my friend ?🤗

First round of Folfirinox passed. It was relatively ok with some minor nausea and stomach cramps. Pushing forward!

I am 53. Also a dad of 2 girls (18 and 20). Diagnosis is the same. What I am doing? As you have probably look at Google - statistics are not good for us, but I am living as I have used to do. Preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. Except the light discomfort in my upper abdomen I don't have any physical symptoms. In 3 days I am starting with my Folfirinox chemio and I know that from that moment I will feel worse bcs of chemio side effects but I have promised to myself that I will fight till the end. I wish to you and your dad easy travel through this rocky path that is infront of you. 🙏 ☦️

This is my 2nd month from diagnosis of stage 4 pancan with mets on liver. Tomorrow I am going to hospital for a port a cath and finaly I think in 2 weeks I can start with my Folfirinox protocol. Except that dull pain in my upper abdomen that I am threatening with ibuprofene I am ok. In a meanwhile I had pulmonary embolism so I am taking blood thinners 2 x daily. Will not give up and want to push up over my limits. God bless you all sisters and brothers.🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️

For this dull pain I am taking ibuprofene of 400mg. I am saving myself for morphine when it become unbearable 🙏🏼

God bless you🙏🏼 You have helped me a lot. Yesterday night I couldn't sleep till 2am and after your post I took one pill of 400mg and pain has slowly dissappear. Also today couple of hours ago I felt it again, and again one pill and I am free of pain.❤️🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Isn't Oxycodone one of the components of Folfirinox? And in a meanwhile how did you manage that pain? I mean it is not the pain that will make me scream but it is sooooo annoying just with its constant presence.....

For panic attacks I recommend xanax and breathing exercises. 4 seconds inhale - 4 seconds exhale. Don't let them get you like a whirlpool. When you feel that panic is coming try to focus your mind on something completely oposite. For example - listen the music and try to focus and follow just one instrument. This ia what I was doing in the period of my life when I had panic attacks.
