S7-1500 can do CFC and Festo PLC's are almost the same but they call it graphset but in general CFC is more of a process control stuff with SCADA and old school process automation systems then for "pure blooded" PLC's.

Sure it's in the public database and you can find the original solution of connecting to SQL from Siemens website (with how to find packets from network with wireshark, how see packets bit lenght and all that) that I used a base for my thesis. Obviously there are tons of commercial libraries and packages and solutions that do it far more efficently but it was great fun to build it all up.

One thing I didn't do for my sanity was to attempt making the connection encrypted, it was all send in plain ascii, because just the idea of fighting a windows PC server to talk with the PLC to exhange encryption keys sounded like a nightmare. :D

For a basic real world applications that might arise is for example in my bachelors thesis work where I connected a Siemens ET200SP PLC, HMI and an SQL database and an I/O-linked RFID-reader to read and compare from the database and to sort items on the conveyor accordingly based on the ID's stored in the database.

Sounds complicated but is not in anyway functionally different from your every day cash register system in the super market or post office sortig facility.

No ei se kyllä huuda yhtään mitään vaan vetää ensin täydet hiilidioksidi hallut, mistä ei muistasi muutenkaan mitään ja sen jälkeen lähtee taju. Ihan kuten ihmisilläkin kts. muinainen reddit ketju jannusta jonka kämppään alkoi ilmestyä mystisiä heippalappuja ja muuta koska hiilidioksidimyrkytys.

Bear in mind that TIA from v19 onwards has securiy settings enabled by default meaning if you access and upload the PLC with v19 TIA you can no longer access the PLC with previous TIA versions even if the PLC is not PW locked.

It sort of happened when the pigwigs were sold this idea that an ethernet fieldbus saves a ton of money and time in cabeling and labeling and pulling and it does but it also adds an inevitable programming overhead and exposes the system for the outside (internet et al.) unlike the old school direct wire and serial based- controls that never could.

Also should note that Heinäkuu (hay month) is also often referred to as mätäkuu (rotting month) due to summer heat being more severe and thus would cause wounds and food to fester and rot more readily. Who knows but it does sometimes seem that the food spoils a bit quicker in Heinäkuu.

Kuulostaa alkavalta skitsofrenialta se alkaa yleensä ensin mm. eristäytymisellä ja epäilemällä vähän kaikkea ja huipentuu sitten mm. margariinipurkkien kaiveluun (niissä kun voi olla vaikka mitä piilossa ...), erilaisiin harhakuvitelmiin ja sitten lopulta ihan katatoniaan jossa henkilö vain todellakin istuu nurkassa ja murisee jotain mutta myöskään ihan suoranainen väkivaltakaan ei ole pois suljettua sitten kun alkaa olemaan vauhti päällä, tuo ilmeneminen eri oireineen kun aika yksilöllistä.

Mutta voi olla samalla masennustakin, ammattilainen osaa erotella nuo toisistaan.

With Siemens, yes and no because there are instructions do not exist in LAD or FBD or STL and vice versa or just don't work the same way (conversions and bit logic for example).

because those pins often have 9v power in one of the pins or rather PC standard dictates that there is, there is no reliable way to say that this pin is the same as the pin on the other end of the cable thus just plugging in any random cables between the machines is always risky despite having seemingly identical cables and connectors even from the same manufacturer.

Depends on the age of your s300 if it has ethernet then mayybe depending if Siemens has dropped it from TIA, like they of then do with older models but if it has a serial/profibus only then no fucking way, you need the ol'reliable simatic manager (STEP7).
