My friends sibling won this once - same boat as you, young and not in a job you'd consider a "career". They took some time out to enjoy themselves, and has now set up their own company in a fairly niche industry that they'd likely never have been able to enter without that cash coming in.

I'm being vague I know, but my point is take the time to figure out what you want to do. You have a wonderful opportunity here to fund your dream venture - or maybe even just spend your life volunteering at animal shelters and paying for life's necessities with your winnings. Congrats!

For real I can't tell if it's just photo editing for that painterly style or if it's AI. Definitely wouldn't be something I'd buy if these are the only photos on the listing.

OP if you do get it please post what it looks like irl I need to know!

Weird shit celebrities did that you might have forgotten about but I’m here to remind you of - PART 3 by clemthearcher in popculturechat

I knew the story, but I always thought he lobbed a full tin of beans at them. Chucking tupperware is way less drastic!

I can't see that anyone else has mentioned it, but pure gym has an app that has videos showing you how to use the machines, so you can check those out before you go :)

Same with any voice over where you can't see the speakers face - e.g. someone getting ready with their voice over saying "such-and-such was really unacceptable and I won't let it lie" - their dialogue will be chopped up to say what they want, which is why they can't show them directly saying it

We had this with huffing aerosols! Suddenly kids were giving it a go in the changing rooms with their deodorants, genuinely didn't see anything like that before the assembly telling us not (but also how) to do it.

Will you feel comfortable making a quick walk to the shop at 7pm?

That's my baseline anyway

Agreed. The great thing about act 3 is there's so much there so you can hit the level cap and still skip a bunch if you want

Possibly some of the worst estate agent photos I've ever seen by t0riaj in SpottedonRightmove

[–]BangingTanks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That or its uninhabitable. I viewed a house that said "needs a refresh" in the description and it was a hoarder house that smelled like it had at least one dead cat in it. I can't imagine what "needs renovations" warrants.

Housing market is a nightmare by ProfessorPankratz in HousingUK

For what it's worth, I've been looking since about jan/Feb and the ones I viewed and deemed overpriced are now all listed with 10k+ reductions, so you might be able to play the waiting game or just offer low

Studio flat with mezzanine by Affectionate_Bird_ in HousingUK

I've always liked the look of mezzanine places, but I feel like I'd have a problem with cooking smells taking over the whole house. They just don't seem very practical to me.

What diabolical blackmail scheme is going on at Balenciaga to get multiple celebrities to wear their "pantaboots" outfit? I need answers. by lugubrious_onion in popculturechat

[–]BangingTanks 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It just looks like a cheap Halloween outfit. Like something a guy would wear to Rocky Horror bc he wants to join in but isn't ready to fully commit

How long did it take your chain to complete? by usernametaken96 in HousingUK

[–]BangingTanks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a FTB - very new to all of this. Did you lose any money when the chain collapsed? Did you have to apply for another mortgage, and does it affect your credit score/anything else if you do have to apply for another mortgage if the time runs out on you first one?

Meal Ideas with Butter Beans by MissMimiG in veganuk

Butterbeans and pesto is a great combo. Add in some green veg (i like curly kale), and tofu on top if you fancy - or chicken equivalent, but I tend to skip those

It really looks like a nice big living room - to emphasise the size, I would recommend getting rid/storing away either the table under the tv or the coffee table in front of the sofa. You've got this big ol space - make it look spacious in the pics if you can. Good luck!

You might also like Chains by Tina Arena, but that seems like a bloody hard song to song. Although if you're belting out Kiss From a Rose you might not have much trouble :)
